He needs water to beat katakuri like jinbe said when he dowsed him in tea. He didn't bring nami along to save him again just a thought. But he also needs to win this one by himself. It I don't see it happening. Well one more week we'll get 4 more pages of the fight lol

I don't see him beating Katakuri with water. When Katakuri is doused in liquids, his body looses consistency and he turns into a liquid-like state. But he'd still be transformed, and Luffy's punches still wouldn't be able to bypass that. At best, Luffy could leave Katakuri stuck in a liquid-like state and use that moment to escape, but not straight up beat him.

It wasn't the water that did it, it was hot water. So he also needs heat.

I think the Vinsmokes will come for him because their entire kingdom is still connected to WCI and they aren't fast on those snails. So they will need to think of something to get away or use their clones like some kind of kamikaze offensive.

Let's not jump to conclusions yet, we haven't seen Luffy go all-out yet so far since he had other things on his mind like his crew almost drowning. He might still win this, because as I said before Cracker's focus on defense was merely a bad match up for the physically orientated Luffy. Either way it'll be a close call no matter how the fight ends.

Nah he needs to win this or hold his own. Luffy will get a new form in chapter 883 calling it now.
