The ability to mix 2 or 3 elements into something completely new is KKG. U cant mix water and earth to get a tree, nor wind fire rock to get jinton.
Kakashi had water n earth, why didnt he copy mokuton from yamato?

On side note: Yes elder son could have SM, he has some special markings. Although stamina is more of a YS trait, you'd expect ES being 2nd best there, so they could have SM too.
