anywho nice first attempt with nothing overdone...
Though if i am right just one brush used and i recommend against using text in your tags this early....
other than that tutorials will really teach u quite a few things Just search them out

hmm I'm not sure about it, but if she's Erza from Fairy Tail then something related to magic. something which is matching with her character. I couldn't give you a better suggestion. I'm not that good. (actually I'm not good at all... proof are my sigs I made =/)

Yes. Yes, we do.

Anyway, this is actually nice for a first sig, not totally overdone with nooby effects like some people do. But I would suggest only trying to add text when you get better at this stuff. Also...it does look a little bit plain, you could have maybe added some subtle effects were the black part is.​
