First Names

Why does everyone else in the anime/manga use their first names except Lee and Guy. Wouldn't it be better if they called them Rock and Might.

Is it? I thought their names were Rock Lee and Might Gai
OT: No idea, I like Lee and Gai better though IMO

Lee and Gai are their first name, Rock and Might Are Their Second Name.
In Japanese when they say/write their Name they first say/write Their Second Name Then Their First Name just Like "Uzumaki Naruto". Got it?

Played, didn't realize it back then, the English version that played on Toonami messed that up for me
