Dragonball evolution was one of the greatest movies of all time and the best anime adaptation.
The CGI and acting was Oscar worthy, and it was better than Akira's original story.

The CGI may be above avarage, however if my memory serves me right... I think two years back when the anime ended. I saw something similar to this.
