Maybe Kawaki has CM and had a partial transformation. The new author could be taking it in this direction to make Orochimaru relevant again. .

Thinking back to the kind of replies I and many other Revolution supporters were getting in late 2014 to the end of the manga when we pointed out that Naruto's way was a joke could not possibly create lasting peace or end the cycle of hatred I must admit it is sweet indeed to see this. This new author has already totally destroyed the ending to Kishi's original story and I find it hilarious.

With that said, this new series looks like ass as well, and I don't think I'll be following it. Can't wait to see what happened to Naruto and Sasuke though, no doubt it will be just as funny.

There isn't even any indication that he was the one who killed Naruto. He only said that he'll send Boruto to the same place. For all we know, Naruto was killed some time before Kawaki attacked Konoha and that might even be the reason why he got the chance to. The strongest killed, so he was able to execute his plan.

There's no way he could fight Naruto and then Boruto right after that. It could even be the same as Naruto and Sasuke. The major enemy was defeated and now Kawaki is executing his own plan.

I stand corrected about it sounding like fanfiction. It actively looks like somebody's fan story off of deviantart, not the art per se, but the designs and all that, I never thought I'd say it looks less inspired than Super Saiyan Blue and thats just a recoloring of the first super saiyan form.

I dont believe he has much input. I'm not one to simply believe them when I know that people play on your weakness.

Kishi himself said hes done with Naruto and was ready for it to be over. Now hes just cashing in while others carry his story. All the while you all say its canon even though Kishi id not write it. Overseeing something is vague in itself and is only a tool to win you all over.

Its not the way kishi would do it. Its obvious others are writing the story. Kishi has a boss and editor like anyone else. Even now he just "oversees" hes not writing the story.
