Rukia had been standing for what seemed to be days. She was waiting for someone to take her challenge. Suddenly a figure appears before her. Without saying a word, which is extremely rude and irritating, proceeds to try and slap Rukia. This dude was about to find out who the real bish was. As the slap is about to land Rukia creates a single spike of ice. The spike of ice is only three inches long but pierces though your hand. As the spike pieces your hand Rukia delivers kick straight to your chest. The kick pushes you back causing your hand to be jerked back. This causes the hole to becoming bigger making your hand useless.

You just said short range, that being anywhere from a centimeter away to 5 meters, and since short range was mentioned, I was under the impression that you wanted a taijutsu battle, hence the reason why I went with a simple slap to start the battle xD.

Seeing the ice spikes form from Rukia, Jack clenches his right fist and forms a sphere of lightning all around it, he then proceeds to destroy the spikes of ice with his hands and continues to punch Rukia in the face, should his hand make contact with her face, a localized electrical explosion would be released from Jack's right fist possibly destroying her pretty face. Simultaneously to his attack Jack places his left hand upon the hilt of his sword and starts drawing it while preparing himself for his next attack should Rukia manage to defend herself.

"Oh deary...you seem to be having a little trouble...sorry to say but this is only the beginning of your nightmare....hehe..."
