Utaka was born in a small, snowy village near Kirigakure. Utaka's father and mother were simple farmers, and they lived a peaceful life. They loved each other, and were kind to their child. Unfortunately, this all changed. Utaka's mother and father were killed by some ninja bandits, when Utaka wasnt home. When he came back home and saw his mother and father dead, he promised himself that he will get hes revenge and make peace to the world.
Orphaned, Utaka became a child who was wanted by no one and was forced to take to the cold streets and rummage trough trash bins for scraps of food.
but later he was found by Kirigakure ninja, who took care of Utaka and his problems.
