Also, can Kenjutsu be placed under a specialty?

You start off as genin rank since that what your post count is at. As for specialties you can't really have any since you are a low rank at the moment, but the more you post the higher your rank will become. Then you can have certain specialties depending on what bio you make. Now as for elements you can choose one of the basic five to start out with, but you can't use any of the jutsus for said element until you get trained in it.

Yes, it can. You can add that in specialties right now, because kenjutsu involves free-form mostly.
