Shinobu begins to wonder; Uhh, It's obviously gonna cook my donu--- then says giggles as she says out loud; "...To perform a jutsu of katon release, you need to mold hot chakra into the stomach to release it through the lungs and mouth. The element is pretty common amongst the villagers of the hidden leaf, especially the Uchiha and the Sarutobi clans."
Shinobu stretches her arms out for a few seconds. "There are two ways in which you can manipulate your chakra, these are Shape and Nature. What turns chakra into an element is Nature manipulation ... Once you have an element, you need shape manipulation to give it form. Using both creates the jutsu you want. It requires physical effort and a little imagination."

Akasha looked at the young shinobi talk, words leaving her mouth correct.

The flames of creativity and passion, dancing source of heat, life and light. Fire is capable of giving wings of fortitude, benevolence and devotion. Fire is adamant and exhilarating and doubtlessly not subtle. It is seen as a force that is burning inside all of us, giving us iron willpower as to reach our objective, bestowing upon us the passion to do it with all of ourself.''
Keeping the eye contact between the two, she continued...

From slacking off slightly earlier, Shinobu'd gotten more serious after hearing Akasha's spoken words. As her eyes glare at her senpai in passion she continues. "...I understood everything, I have no questions."
What a wonderful senpai... Shinobu begins to happily wonder.

"...First of all, fire is strong against air and is weaker against water. It can also work in conjuction with wind to increase the strength rate, and by any chance even be able to overcome it's enemy, water. Fire can also be used in in conjunction with earth and lightening release. When fire clashes with water, the fire will be smothered away. Coming in contact with earth, fire will be set and in many cases it will read. Contact to win will be huge win for Fire as it feeds on air. And contact with lightening will only enlarge the fire."

This being said, a C ranked water jutsu is equivalent in power as a B ranked fire jutsu, keeping in mind that sizes of jutsus are approximately the same. This is because water is capable of extinguishing flames and thus not letting them keep on burning. Although water is stronger then fire, when used in conjuction, the two are capable of forming steam. This is especially usable if you are a sensory ninja or are capable to in any way or form know where your opponent is standing. You will be capable of hiding your presence and thus create sneak attacks. Now if you know that your opponent is capable of sensing you could get rid of the steam by releasing wind which will passively blow away the steam as it continues towards opponent.
Now when it comes to fire release and wind release. Fire is stronger then wind, because oxygen from which wind is formed is just going to fuel the flames. Although when they clash fire is going to overpower wind, they are actually quite great when it comes to their combo usage. Oxygen from which wind is formed is going tu fuel flames even more and thus make them stronger and make them effect bigger area. The speed of the technique that would now be running would be greater.
Fire and earth Release are neutral to eachother. Which means that a C ranked fire technique will be equivalent in power as a C ranked earth technique, keeping in mind that their size is approximately the same. Although they are neutral to each other when they clash they are quite good when they combine with each other. The heatness from fire will effect the earth and thus melt it forming magma. Keep in mind that magma will be formed if earth is more solid. If the variation of earth release, mud was combined with fire release, heatness of fire is going to harden the mud.

''This paper that I've given you is of different kind. You are capable of focusing chakra into it. Now what I want for you to do is actually channel your katon chakra into it. If you do it correctly the paper should burn down to ashes.''

Realizing that Shinobu'd already used the paper else where, in a softer tone than usual she mentions to her senpai;

Shinobu takes the paper from Akasha senpai's hand. Taking a hold of the paper, Shinobu begins to concentrate. Focusing on the key aspects of Katon, Shinobu visualizes the physical properties of fire.
Stretching her arms, Shinobu wonders. Well, fire is... hot. A very powerful element. Although it has a major weakness against water, the control and focus put in a katon jutsu needs to be accurate, and if not hence the surroundings will be harmed.
Whilst focusing and visualising, a charge arose within her circulatory system. Shinobu quickly opens her eyes and moves them over to the hand where she's carrying the paper. The charge felt warm and overflowing. It felt very uncontrollable. To reduce the time waiting for larger charge, Shinobu immediately focused on flowing the charge over to her left hand where the special paper is held. By doing so, the paper was burned down to ashes as soon as a drop of Shinobu's katon chakra reached the slightest tip of the paper.
After lots of focus and fallen sweat droplets, Shinobu takes a step back in drain. Shinobu awaits further instructions.

Shinobu's eyes widens in excitement. "Finally, the jutsus!" She yells Shinobu takes a few steps as she forwards onto her training.
In the process of nature manipulation, Shinobu begins to gather up katon chakra and lead it through to the upper area of her circulatory system. As she is in the process of doing so, Shinobu quickly begins to visualise the jutsus appearance before performing it, achieving the procidure of shape manipulation. Shinobu later on then stops gathering katon chakra as she feels she has gathered more than enough. Feeling ready to perform the first jutsu, Shinobu takes a step back.
Shinobu's performance made her proud and excited as she had the ability to use fire. This motivated her to do even better in the next set of the jutsu.
Now I have to exhale multiple fire balls right? Eager to see the result she rushes into performing the next set of jutsu in ease. Repeating the steps she committed earlier, she is ready to do it... In motivation, she says "Here I go!!" but in a quiet tone.
Performing it, she was astonished. Saying to herself I have the ability to use fire. Fire has always amazed her, and Shinobu always wanted to learn how to use it. Shinobu runs towards senpai's direction and mutters to her in appreciation. "Thanks for.." Nervous, she turns her head to the left and continues her phrase. "...letting me learn fire Akasha senpai."

OOC: I'll go a bit more in depth with it. Projectiles are techniques that are released from your body,from your mouth,your feet,your fists and so on. Projectiles are blasted off/launched from your body towards the intended target. When it comes to projectiles you gather and release a defined amount of chakra. What is characteristic when it comes to projectiles is that once they leave your body they are no longer tied to your chakra which means that once you release them you can send another technique to follow them (Let's say you send a fire ball towards your opponent and as soon as you release that fire ball from your mouth you send a wind tornado as to make a fire tornado which makes more damage as well as effects bigger area). But not being tied to your own charka comes with an disadvantage. Direction in which they are moving can not be changed unless the technique you use says otherwise. That disadvantage with which they come makes it easier in a way for opponent to counter them. There is one more characteristic attribute to projectiles and that is sending few of them at the intended target. But the bigger the number of projectiles there is the smaller their power as well as size are. But sending more projectiles can make countering of a technique harder. You can send one towards your target's legs and one towards his head. He will have to use a technique that effects a bigger area as to defend from yours.

''Watch'' Akasha glanced upon her student as she took few shurikens from her pouch and infused them with previously gathered katon chakra. Sending them forth towards the dummies nearby whilst they were still in the air she applied the nature as well as shape manipulation on the said chakra within shurikens which caused flare of fire to envelop each one. Here sight following their flight. ''You saw what I did there?'' she firmly shifted her eyes towards her student. ''I need you to do exactly the same thing. Take few shurikens from your pouch whilst gathering chakra within the hands with which you are holding them. Proceed by infusing the said chakra into the shurikens and send them forth towards the dummies nearby. Whilst they are still airborne apply process of nature manipulation as to cause fire to be born as well as shape manipulation making it envelop them.'' With head gesture she signaled her student as to try and do it herself.

Shinobu nods her head, and begins to follow Akasha-senpai's instruction. As she shifts her right foot back a little, she quickly reaches for her shuriken holster attached to her right knee, taking hold of two shuriken. Whilst she takes her right hand in hold of the shuriken out of the holster, her step taken, shinobu quickly charges the sufficient amount of chakra. Infusing chakra to the shuriken effortlessly, Shinobu sends the shurikens forth, leading them towards the dummies nearby. As they leave the tips of her fingers, and dash towards the dummies ahead, Shinobu quickly applies nature and shape manipulation to the chakra causing a flare of fire enveloping each shuriken. Shinobu stretches her arms as she watches the shuriken fly.

With the performance of last hand seal release the chakra from your mouth whilst applying processes of nature and shape manipulation. Nature manipulation as to create a flammable gas substance and shape manipulation to form a stream. If the said gas comes in contact with a some type of fire, it could even be from lighter or lightning spark it will ignite congregating into a fireball.'' she nodded at her student before yet once again continuing her speech. ''The problem that I find when it comes to this jutsu is the amount of hand seals it so needs, but rather then that it is quite good.''
