my two favourites so far.

I begin by gathering a huge amount of chakra in my lungs and by using chakra manipulation i transform the chakra into Katon. At the same time i perform the nescessary Rat → Dog → Tiger handseals and When i feel that i have the right amount of chakra gathered i release it, by exhaling a small fireball. the second the fireball touches surface it errupts into a giant storm of fire. the fire completly burns everything in its range.

advantages: Can be used to fool the oponent into thinking that you are using a small fireball and so when in errupts he will be completly surprised. It can also be used as cover for a raiton techniqe.

Disadvantages: One of the disadvantages is that it only goes up to midrange and so the oponent cant be too far away. and annother disadvantage is that it requires three handseals giving the oponent time to prepare.


I begin by gathering a great amount of chakra and once i feel that i have the right amount i begin molding my chakra into Katon. I stomp my foot into the ground and release some chakra into it, creating a tunnel that goes between me and the oponent. right afterwards i breathe out fire into the tunnel causing it to carry rock and such with it when it travels. as it does the rock melts and turns into lava. after that i perform a single handseal and the molten rock debris erupts from the ground beneat and burns the oponent alive.

Advantage: One of the things i like about this is that when you stomp your foot into the ground the enemy can be fooled to think that you are using a doton technique and so you can surprise him with the lava. This jutsu also goes up to midrange.

Disadvantage: Requires some setup. first you have to stomp on the ground and even if i think of this part as a advantage its also a disadvantage because then the oponent will be prepared for an ground jutsu. after that you must exhale the fire into the tunnel, giving the enemy time to react to it. and then you have to perform the handseal and if the enemy is smart he can time it with a technique of his own.

Hearing senpai giving me the instructions i gather a great amount of chakra and by using chakra manipulation i transfomr it into Katon. When i have the right amount of chakra gathered i release it by igniting a fireflame across the ground infront of me and then, i release a gust of wind to increase the flames size and length.

Advantages: A two part technique meaning even if you fail to release the wind, the fire is still there to damage the enemy if he's close. and it requires no handseals.

Dissadvantage: The fire runns through the ground i think and that means the enemy has to be standing on the ground and not on a tree, rock or be airbourne.

Right afterwards i gather an even greater amount of chakra and manipulate it, transfomring it into Katon. Once i feel that i have the right amount i release it by exhaling it from my mouth, blowing out a large fireball towards a group of dummies. When it reaches them, the fire erupts into a maelstrom of fire, engulfing the dummies in flames and burning them.

Advantage: Requires no handseal and is a quite fast technique to use.

Dissadvantage: Only goes up to midrange, meaning the oponent cant be too far away.

You can choose how far you want each of these pillars to be... one meter apart, one centimeter, 5 meters... just nothing too ridiculous that doesn't break the mid-range restriction."

"This jutsu can be used defensively. I want you to break down exactly what it can defend from, be specific with ranks and elements, of course. The height of these pillars is enough to even attack low-flying targets, which can be useful for attacking an enemy in mid-air if timed correctly."

A few birds were circling the air above Kakashi and Souji. Souji looked at his student and winked, pointing at them.

Perform the Tiger hand seal and compress Katon chakra in your body. Expel it from your mouth while applying shape manipulation to form dragon head-shaped fireballs. Using your chakra, manipulate the path and trajectory of the fireballs. This is an advantage because you can control where they go, but also keep in mind that this occupies your focus. The fireballs are condensed and hot enough to almost be considered solid, but they cause projectile-style damage and incineration. It can also reach any feasible range, which is fearsome."

Description: After performing the hand seal Tiger the user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body, before instead expelling it in the form of a number of dragon head-shaped fireballs. The user then skilfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. The temperature of the created flames is so great that, even with the briefest of contact, they are capable of easily burning human flesh and the fireballs are dense enough to behave almost as solid, being able to deliver impact damage in adition to the fire damage. However, this also means that they can be deflected as a solid projectiles.

Hearing the instrouctions form his senpai, Kakashi takes a deep breath and gathers a great amount of chakra all around his body. When he feels he got the right amount gathered he manipulates it, transforming it into Katon. By stomping his leg on the ground he then releases the chakra and by using shape manipulation he creates three large pillars of fire, raising all three of in a row, next to eachother creating a giant wall of fire, that incinerates the birds.

Lets have some barbecue then!

Can be used as a great shield, by raising all three pillars in a row infront of you. It can defend against up to B-rank water. If the water is C-rank and below the fire will evaporise the water and if its a Brank it will have the same effect but the fire will be put down too. Can also shield against up to S-rank wind, basic weapons and projectiles, some doton attacks and a few raiton.

After finishing our meal of grilled bird i stand up and gather even more chakra and by using chakra manipulation i transform my chakra into katon. at the same time i perform the nescessary tiger handseal and exhale multiple fireballs from my mouth. as i exhale them ,at the same time i, by using shape manipulation form these fireballs into dragonheads. Sending them all towards the targets from diffrent angles, hitting and burning the targets.

Advantages: Can be controlled, meaning it can avoid obstacles and it goes up to long-range wich is great because this insures that the enemy must counter the technique. there is almost no way to block or evade it. and since its multiple dragonheads if you send them from diffrent directions it will make it hellish to counter.

Dissadvantage: i only see one dissadvantage and that is that you have to maintain focus on the fireballs, meaning you will be open for attack and you cant perform any other technique.

Upon hearing senpai's instructions, Kakashi spots the lake that showed up from no-where and begins gathering a huge amount of chakra in his lungs. By using chakra manipulation he manipulates his chakra and transfroms it into Katon. At the same time he performs the single nescessary handseal. Once he feels that he has the right amount, he releases the chakra, by exhaling a large stream of fire that widdens as it goes further and further. Aiming towards the magic lake Kakashi sees the water evaporise and sees the steam coming up from the lake. He continues to exhale the chakra until its all out and by the time he is finished he looks upon the lake and see's a minimum amount of water there. close to nothing.

To answer the question:i would use the widespread against large creatuers, like summons and/or multiple oponents. I could also use it with the raiton technique : sixteen pillar bind. while i would use the thin stream against a single oponent that is standing short/midrange. By using the thin spread agaainst a close range oponnet i make sure that i, somehow dont get hit by my own technique.

Jutsu 2

listening carefully to senpai, kakashi gathers a massive amount of chakra in his lungs and begins manipulating it, transforming the chakra into katon. at the same time he performs the four nescessary Horse → Tiger → Snake → Ram handseals and as he feels that he has the right amount of chakra gathered he looks up towards the sky and exhale 8 huge fireballs that then rains down on the targets. Upon hitting the ground the fireballs have an explosive reaction and burns the targets and the small area around them.

Counter? Well i actually wouldn't try to counter this, i would rather evade and i think, since this jutsu covers massive distances, i would evade it by going underground as soon as i see the enemy exhale them. By digging my way deep underground i evade the fireballs entirely.

"That's perfect, Kakashi. I expected no less." Souji grinned.

He reaches for his equipment bag and pulls out two scrolls, laying them in front of Kakashi.

"Alright, for these next two jutsus, you need scrolls. Thankfully, I brought some. For the first one, channel you Katon chakra through it to break the seal, and apply your shape manipulation to form a large flaming dragon that you can direct towards your opponent by controlling it with your chakra. Upon impact, it will explode."

"Try it on my clone."

"I can think of an incredibly simple counter for this. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Let's see." He said slyly as he created two Shadow Clones.

I grab one of the scrolls Souji senpai put infront of me and then i look at Souji's clone as i focus my chakra and manipulate it, transforming it into Katon chakra. When i feel that i have the right amount of chakra gathered i release it by infusing it into the scroll and as i open it, pointing it towards Senpai's clone i release the chakra, breaking the seal and right afterwards, by using shape manipulation i create a large flaming dragon, made of fire. By controlling the dragon i send it towards the clone and as it strikes, it burns the clone before exploading and destroying the clone entirely.

i honestly dont think im thinking what you are.....i would use the Suiton: Suijinheki(water encampment wall) against the dragon.


Right afterwards i direct my attention to senpai's second clone as i pick up the second clone i gather a huge amount of chakra in my body and using chakra manipulation, transform it into katon. As i have the right amount i infuse it into the scroll and release it, breaking the seal and summoning a tiger made of flames that i controll and send towards the clone. as it reaches the clone it attaches to it, and exploads, destroying the clone entirely.

I suppose shape manipulation is not required since it states that the user "summons" a tiger from the scroll?

(LAST TWO KATON TECHNIQUES :T_T: )

They had come this far. It seemed like only yesterday they were performing techniques. Not the time to be waxing nostalgic, however. Kakashi was a good friend and his comrade; it was only appropriate that he help him in any way possible. After all, this was Souji's nindo... his "ninja way".

"The first of the last techniques in this category will have you weaving the Horse handseal. Mold Katon chakra in your body and expel it as a wall of intense flames that covers a wide area in front of you, in both the vertical and horizontal directions. It's nearly impossible to avoid, but not as fast as other Katon techniques."

"As a reference, Madara used this against the alliance back in the Fourth Shinobi World War."

When it was used by Madara Uchiha, the massive scale of the technique was such that, in comparisson, his incomplete Susanoo seemed small. The main advantage of the technique is that it can be used to burn large areas in an effect in everything similar to a flamethrower.

The flames covers a huge are, making it impossibe to see past them.

Right afterwards he takes a few deep breaths and gathers even more chakra in his lungs and then he performs the nescessary Rat → Ox → Dog → Horse → Monkey → Boar → Tiger handseals while manipulating the massive amount of chakra and transforming it into katon chakra by using chakra manipulation. Straight afterwards he releases the chakra by exhale a massive stream of flames from his mouth covering a huge area and as he keeps exhaling the flames, the flames reaches a massive longrange distance.

He takes a deep breath and looks at his friend.

Upon seeing his senpai heading back to the village, Kakashi looks around, take's a deep breath and follows his senpai back to the village. Once arriving he heads for the tavern, sits down at the regular table with his friends and orders a huge glas of goatpiss.
