( Katon: Karyūdan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user exhales a flame breath from their mouth after making one handseal. This technique can be used in conjunction with Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet to ignite the projectiles fired by the latter technique, making it more devastating.

First off, I want you to form one handseal whilst envisioning the nature of the Fire element. Gather a sizable portion of your superheated katon chakra into your lungs before exhaling it as a breath of flames. If you know this technique's Earth counterpart (Earth Dragon Bullet), utilize it directly afterwards, causing the two attacks to merge together into a devastating stream of mud. If you do not possess the technique, my rock clone here will aid you by performing it on your behalf.

Key Points: Nothing special at all about this technique.

( Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user first performs six hand seals Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger and they create a volley of small fireballs, which are sent flying in an unpredictable manner assaulting the enemy. In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can also be concealed within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.
You must be registered for see images

Now, here's the slightly upgraded version of a technique you attempted earlier. Perform a sequence of six handseals before focusing your katon-based chakra to your lungs. Exhale the built chakra as a volley of small fireballs, retrieving a few shuriken from your ninja pouch with your left hand and throwing them in the same direction as the fireballs. This will serve to conceal their presence, giving this attack a slight element of surprise. Both the flames and thrown shuriken can be controlled remotely through the use of chakra, allowing you to control their flight paths as they race towards the opponent.

Key Points:The six handseals is a big disadvantage for the technique, however overall its a decent addition to your arsenal.

( Katon: Honoo no Saigai Hi Kagayaku no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Flame of Disaster Fire Shine Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user releases a flame of fire chakra that converges on the opponent wrapping around them and burning them.

Last but not least, for this technique I would like you to channel your fire chakra to your lungs before releasing it in the form of a small flame towards my clone, using it to wrap around him before inflicting severe burn damage.

Key Points: Straight forward technique, nothing to say here.

the first two techniques i already know.

i begin by gathering my chakra in my stomach and then i start manipulating it to fire chakra. when i have the right amount i channel it to my lungs and then i release it towards your clone. i wrap the fire around him and then burn him

Now we'll move onto the techniques. For this portion of your training, we'll be using my self-regenerating C-Rank Water golem as your test subject. I'm sure you can guess why.

( Katon: Rakka Sanran Kasai ) - Fire Release: Falling Fire Scatter
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user whilst in mid air will release from their mouth a series of small fire shots that rain down upon the target.

For this first technique, I want you to jump into the air whilst focusing your katon chakra into your lungs before exhaling the built chakra in the form of a series of small fire balls which rain down upon my water golem, causing him to partially evaporate and hence forming a cloud of thick steam which masks his exact position.

Key Points: You must be in mid-air to use this jutsu. Sometimes people forget this detail and misuse such techniques.

( Katon: Kitsunebi ) - Fire Release: Fire Whisp
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user creates a small ball of bright fire from their mouth that shoots at the opponent burning on impact.

For your final technique, I want you to focus your katon chakra into your lungs once again before exhaling it the form as a small ball of unusually bright fire, before shooting it towards my golem and using it to burn him on impact.

Key Points: Another boring generic technique.

Jutsu 1: I begin gathering my chakra, focusing it on my lungs. then i jump into the air and at the same time i manipulate my chakra, transforming it to Katon chakra and when im in mid air i release it from my mouth sending several small fireballs towards your Golem.

Jutsu 2 when my feet reach the ground again i gather my chakra to my lungs again and then using chakra manipulation i transform it to Katon. i then release it from my mouth as a bright ball of fire, sending it towards the golem.

I require more detail in future descriptions of the technique's you perform.

Now that you're on B-Ranks, you will continue the rest of your training filling out the following template. Just to clarify, you will still perform the jutsus as well as fill out the template. Don't feel too concerned with making every template submission extremely detailed, some jutsus are more straight forward than others. However, for more unique and complex techniques, I expect a substantial level of detail. Also, don't be hesitant to ask questions about techniques. I remember when I was training, I'd sometimes avoid asking questions just so I could learn more techniques with my teacher's next post. I will always answer your questions and provide new techniques to learn, so if anything I encourage asking about things you want to know more about.

( Katon: Karyū Endan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user first performs seven handseals Ram → Horse → Snake → Dragon → Rat → Ox → Tiger and kneads chakra into flames, which are then manipulated into a genuine-looking dragon. The flames are divided to launch a left side, right side, and frontal assault in all three directions at once, turning the enemy into ash in a matter of seconds.

For this first technique, I'd like you to perform the handseal sequence of: Ram → Horse → Snake → Dragon → Rat → Ox → Tiger before focusing your katon chakra to your lungs. Envision the fire you spew out to emerge in the shape of a genuine-looking dragon before doing so in reality. As you release the flames, divide them into three equal portions, which continue towards the dummies in the corner as a group of smaller dragons. Each one will take a slightly different trajectory/flight path, one will curve off to the right, one will curve off to the left and the final one will take a straightforward linear path towards the dummies.

Key Points: The power of the technique is equally divided between the released dragons, collectively they amount to the power of a B-rank. Though I'm sure you're familiar with this concept already

( Bakuhatsu Enhogan ) – Exploding Flame Shots
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user shoots multiple fire shots from their hands that are able to cause fiery explosions on impact with any object. The shots can't set the opponent on fire, though they can cause damage by exploding on him.

I like the concept of the following technique, since its a nice change from simply exhaling fire from your mouth. Focus your katon chakra to your hands and aim them towards the dummy in the distance. After doing so, release the built chakra in the form of a quick moving barrage of small shots which come directly from your palms. The difference between these fireballs and ordinary ones, is that rather than burning on impact they explode.

Key Points: None, the technique is self-explanatory.

Jutsu 1

Performing the Jutsu: I begin performing the nescessary handseals Ram, Horse, Snake, Dragon, Rat, Ox, and Tiger then I inhale as I build Katon chakra into my lungs. Simutaneously I envision the nature and image of a dragon concentrating on every detail. Keeping that vision in mind I am ready to exhale and release my built chakra. Using chakra manipulation I exhale however I separate the built chakra into 3 different parts. Using my chakra control I make one go to the left, another to the right, and one toward the center creating a three pronged attack.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: I would create a earth wall behind the enemy so that the only way to escape would be to go airborne and then i would use annother technique to attack him in the air.

Ways to Counter: i think one way to shield yourself against this technique is to use the water prison jutsu on yourself. that way even if the fire hits it will only hit the water and the flames would die. annother way is to use the water encampment wall.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated): This is a great technique if you want to corner your enemy and then use a surprise attack. other than that it can be used to evaporate watersources.

Rate the technique out of ten: 7/10. I would have given it an 8 or 9 but you have to perform some handseals too and that takes time and gives the enemy a chance to attack.

Questions about the technique (Optional): can you send this technique airbourne? and if you can would it still attack from three angles?

Jutsu 2

Performing the technique: Instead of building chakra into my lungs I begin building the heated chakra into my hands. I build it up to a certain point as I manipulate the nature of this Katon to focus more of the exploding impact rather than the burning effect of most katon. Ready for release I hold my palms out and begin to fire off several flame fire shots at the dummy stemmed from my built chakra. The flame shots explode on impact due to my manipulation.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: you can use it with the molten earth eruption jutsu.

Ways to Counter: I think its better to block this jutsu than to try to evade all the shots. use a streaming waterjutsu as shield. the water encampment wall comes in handy here too.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated): Can be used to keep the enemy mid or longrange. its a nice distraction technique too since its a barrage of attacks.

Rate the technique out of ten: 6/10. I like how its a fast technique and doesnt require handseals but i dont think it has that much power.

Questions about the technique (Optional): if you shoot this at a earthwall or mud wall can the wall crack or exploade and break?

Yes it can be used airborne and yes if the Earth technique is B-Rank or below in power, the explosions will crack it.

( Katon: Hiendan ) – Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense, Deffence
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user exhales a stronger yet shorter version of the Fire Release: Great Fireball technique.

For this first technique, you will perform a method similar to the Great Fireball technique. Begin inhaling the air whilst gathering a large amount of fire chakra in your lungs, before making a ring with your thumb and index finger and exhaling the technique through the opening. The fireball will ignite externally, so you will not suffer damage from this technique. Direct the fireball towards that group of dummies. However, unlike this technique's counterpart, despite being a stronger fireball, it will also have a much shorter reach.

Key Points: Pay close attention to the range of techniques.

( Katon: Gōenkyū ) - Fire Release: Great Blaze Ball
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user after performing two hand seals Horse → Tiger exhales a big-sized sphere of fire that carries the enemy away and causes a massive explosion on impact. The fire ball has a given solidity property to it, being able to punch through solid obstacles without exploding.
You must be registered for see images

Alright, this technique is slightly more original. Perform the following two handseals before focusing your katon chakra to your lungs. Mold and exhale the built chakra in the form of a large sphere of fire, capable of carrying an opponent away before exploding on impact. Unlike other Fire release techniques, give this fireball a certain "solidity", allowing it to behave much like a doton technique. On its path, the fireball is capable of breaking through solid obstacles (without exploding) to reach its target.

Key Points: Usually, Fire and Lightning techniques have no interaction with one another. However, condensed/focused Fire and Lightning techniques are capable of clashing with one another. This technique should be capable of clashing with focused/condensed lightning techniques.

( Katon: Gōenka ) - Fire Release: Great Flame Flower
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user jumps in the air and shoots three giant bullets of fire that come down like giant meteors, then erupt into a geyser of flame.
You must be registered for see images

Finally, I want you to jump upwards whilst gathering your katon chakra to your lungs. Mold and exhale the built chakra in the form of three moderately large bullets of fire, which will descend much like meteors onto your opponent. After colliding with an object/person, the fireballs will erupt into a vertical geyser of flame.

Key Points: Believe it or not, but the jumping portion of the technique is useful against evading small-scale attacks. You could simply hop over them (avoid the attack entirely) before releasing the fireballs which will continue on to attack your opponent, accomplishing all of this with a single maneuver.

Since techniques cannot be countered in freeform, this is a useful attack to use against World Shaking and similar techniques.

Jutsu 1

Performing the jutsu: I begin gathering a fair amount of chakra in my lungs. when i feel that i have the right amount i, using chakra manipulation, transform it to Katon. i then push my chakra up from my lungs and exhale it from my mouth, sending out a strong, great fireball towards the group of dummies.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: you could use this technique as cover and send a lightningspear or some other lightning technique towards the oponent.

Ways to Counter: one easy way to counter is the water encampment wall. you can use it to extinguish the fire. annother way is to push back a few meters so that the technique doesn't reach you.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated): can be used to burn many oponents that stands on the same place or to burn forests or stuff in your path.

Rate the technique out of ten: 8.5/10, its just like the "great fireball technique" but more powerfull and annother good thing is that, unlike the great fireball technique you dont have to perform any handseals.

Questions about the technique (Optional): none

Jutsu 2

Performing the jutsu: i begin gathering a large amount of chakra in my lungs and when i feel that i have the right amount i begin manipulate it, transforming it to Katon. in the same time i perform the two nescessary handseals and then i push the chakra up to my mouth and press the chakra a bit harder then i exhale it in the form of a great sphere of fire. as i release my chakra i harden it a bit, giving it the power to carry sensei's water golem before exploading.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: well this is a great finishing jutsu since it covers a good area and goes up to longrange. i cant really come up with combinations to it.

Ways to Counter: i think one easy way to evade this jutsu is to go underground. that way it cant get to you and you have a chance to sneak attack since the oponent will think that you got carried away and killed in the fireball explosion.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated): can be used as a finishing, killing jutsu and can be used to kill many oponents. this could be a good jutsu to use against bijuus or version 2 jinchurikis.

Rate the technique out of ten: 8/10. i would have givin it a 9 but the handseals kinda slows it down.

Questions about the technique (Optional): none

Jutsu 3:

Performing the jutsu I begin gathering my chakra in my lungs and then , when i feel that i have the right amount i begin kneading it, transforming it to Katon. i then jump up to the air and at the same time i gather the chakra in my mouth and i spit out three meteor sized fireballs toward the ground.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: you could create a small earthquake and make the enemy fall down to the ground and then attack them with the meteors from above.

Ways to Counter: since it actually is fire and not real solid meteors the enemy can just protect himself in the waterprision jutsu i think.

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated): can be used to attack a group of people, like an army or such. can be used to burn diffrent parts of forests.

Rate the technique out of ten: 8/10. like you said, its a good jutsu because you can evade ground attacks

Questions about the technique (Optional): none

This is a pretty diverse set of techniques, by Fire Release's standards at least. You're introduced to a new variant of Fire (superheated ash) as well as a concept which allows you to generate natural lightning strikes.

(Katon: Haisekishō ) - Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user spews superheated ash from their mouth after performing four handseals. The ash is hot enough to cause third-degree burns on the victim. Because it's composed entirely of ash, it stays in the air around the victim like a cloud. If the user clicks his teeth, the stagnant ash will ignite, creating a violent explosion.

Perform the following sequence of handseals before focusing your katon chakra to your lungs once more. However, envision this chakra manifesting in a completely different form, namely a cloud of scorching ash. Replicate this in reality and spew the ash cloud from your mouth in in the direction of those dummies in the corner. Whenever you decide to, click your teeth to ignite the cloud, resulting in a powerful and violent explosion.

Key Points: Be wary in the way you use such techniques. They're prone to being blown back towards you or worst still, you could get trapped in a prison of Earth with your own technique. Its relatively slow moving, however should you go on to make variants of this, attempt to make your techniques fast moving. I have one of my own, which has considerable abrasive power (shredding e.g. imagine a sand blaster), so even without the heat, its still a deadly attack. Also, techniques where you manually detonate them by clicking your teeth, they need to have come from your mouth, otherwise you have to find other means of detonation.

( Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offense/Supplementary
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user fires several large dragon-shaped fireballs at their opponent after performing one handseal. It is able to alter localized weather conditions to the point of making thunder clouds when shot into the air, enabling the user to perform Kirin.

Focus your katon chakra into your lungs after performing single handseal. Mold the built chakra before aiming your head towards the sky and firing it off in the form of multiple dragons of fire. After the dragons reach the sky, they will heat up the upper atmosphere and generate the necessary weather conditions (storm clouds) for natural lightning strikes. This jutsu is used as a step to trigger a devastating technique known as Lightning Release: Kirin.

Key Points: To generate the conditions for Kirin, all of the dragons produced in this technique need to reach the sky. Their collective power is B-Ranked and a B-Rank or above Fire technique with Long Range Reach needs to be used towards the sky.

( Katon: Hōsenka Tsumabeni ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user unleashes a volley of shuriken with one hand, while at the same time exhaling fire-infused chakra onto them in order to increase the weapons' destructive potential by making them capable of inflicting severe burns upon direct contact with either the intended victim or any other object caught within their trajectories. Due to the chakra-based nature of the flames that surround them, the shuriken will continue to burn after impact, regardless of the flammability of the object that they ultimately collide with.

This is the better and high-ranked version of that D-Rank Blazing Shuriken Dance I taught you earlier. Much like before I want you to utilize Fire Release: Mist Blaze Dance technique, to generate a flammable mist around that group of dummies. Afterwards, retrieve several shuriken from your ninja pouch and toss them in the direction of the mist, before exhaling small fireballs which inflame the small tools to create a barrage of fire-coated weapons. On coming into contact with the flames, the mist should explode into a large maelstrom of fire, completely incinerating anything in its area of effect.

Key Points: A good jutsu to employ in close-combat fights, a nice addition to the arsenal of Fire Release users.

Jutsu 1

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: I would probably combine this with a wind technique, after clicking my teeth and igniting the ash i would use my mouth to expel wind, making the fire burn even stronger.

Ways to Counter:
Since this jutsu is deadly from the begining i would probably try blowing the ash towards its user with a fuuton technique

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated): Can be used to block the oponents vision with the ash and at the same time cause third degree burns on them before incinirating him entirely. can also be used on a group of people

Rate the technique out of ten: 9/10, a personal favourite

Questions about the technique (Optional): none

performing this technique: Kakashi performs the four nescessary handseals and gathers a great amount of katon chakra in his lungs. when he feels that he has the right amount he exhales superheated ash from his mouth and after a few seconds he clicks his teeth, igniting the ash and causes a great explosion.

Jutsu 2

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: i could use this technique to gather stormclouds and thus being able to use Kirin.

Ways to Counter: if used against me i would counter it with "Suiton Teppoudama" and counter the flames with the water

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated): Mainly used as preparation for Kirin but it can also be used against multiple people since you send multiple flames.

Rate the technique out of ten: 8/10

Questions about the technique (Optional): none

Performing the technique Kakashi performs the required handseal quickly and then moves onto the production of dragon head. By gathering a fair amount of Katon chakra in his lungs he first exhales fire and sends one dragon head in straight line, then changes the angle to 45 degrees both clockwise and anti-clockwise and sends a set of Dargon-head in each direction. He restricts the movement of his opponent, before targeting his opponent, and sending final dragon-head to finish things off.

Jutsu 3

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: I liked NK's combination, by first performing the Fire Release: Mist Blaze Dance technique and afterwards perform this technique and when it come's in contact with the mist it will expload into a large maelstrom of fire completly burning everything in its area

Ways to Counter: I belive a simple earth/water wall should be enough to block the shurikens

Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated): i would use it to strike multiple targets with the shurikens and at the same time causing burns on the are it hits.

Rate the technique out of ten: 7/10

Questions about the technique (Optional): none

Performing the technique: Kakashi Grabs his shurikens and throws them towards his opponent, which is sensei's clone in this case when the shurikens are heading towards the clone i exhale multiple small balls of fire on the shurijens. This results in increasing destructive capabilities of the shurikens, which upon impact with with your clone engulfs your clone in the fire.

Souji (you already know this bio xD) watches as his student (what bio are you using to RP?) performs the techniques. Not bad.

"The first one in the next set has you performing the Tiger hand seal. Manipulate your chakra and release it through the atmosphere. From the ground, several flames will rise and float around you. Your shape manipulation will turn these flames into head shapes. They look quite demonic, as if inspired by Japanese Mythology... the Oni demons."

"You can then focus and control the flaming projectiles to hit your targets. Pretty handy."

( Katon: Onidōrō ) - Fire Release: Demon Lantern
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the atmosphere around him to create several ghost-like flames resembling heads with horns and yellow eyes that then attack the target/s in a swarm.

"After that, build up your Katon chakra in your chest and release a burst of flame from your mouth at your opponent's feet. It'll shoot up from the point of impact, forming a flaming pillar. If you time this right, your opponent will get caught in it and be thrown up into the air and burned."

"Give me an example of a good follow-up technique in battle, if you manage to catch your opponent in it."

( Katon: Honoo no Hashira Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Flame Pillar Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra into their chest and then they will release from their mouth a quick burst of flame towards their opponents feet which then errupts into a large pillar of flame reaching 3 meters tall and inflicting damage to the target.

"I don't really have a template, but just tell me what you think is IMPORTANT for each technique: advantages, disadvantages, creative uses, counters... should be pretty simple, right? Make sure to ask questions if you have any." he said with a kind look on his face.

Souji waited for his student to comply. He was a fellow Konoha shinobi so he treated him more like a comrade and friend.

I am using Snake eye's, in sig.

Jutsu 1

Snake wanted to tell his senpai how much he appreicated what he did for him but he had sworn never to talk so he nodded politly towards Souji and did as his senpai said and performed the nescessary tiger handseal, as he gathered a great amount of chakra and manipulated it, transforming it to Katon. after that he releases it into the atmosphere, rising several flames from the ground and using shape manipulation he turns these into heads of Oni. as they float around Snake eyes he sends them towards several dummies as projectiles.

one of the biggest advantages in this technique is, in my opinion, that its a long range technique and that its a projectile meaning you dont need to risk being close to the enemy in order to execute this technique.

drawbacks/counters: i think the one and only drawback in this technique is the nescessary tiger handseal. one way to counter this techniques would be to turn the flames off by using a suiton technique like "showers".

i do have one question about this technique. Lets say the enemy is behind a tree or a wall and you know were he is. can you send the projectiles from the sides?

jutsu 2

Snake gatheres a fair amount of chakra in his lungs and using chakra manipulation he manipulated his chakra, transforming it to Katon. when he had the right amount gathered he exhaled a burst of flame towards a dummys feet and as the flame hits it expands into a large pillar, three meters high and burns the dummy as it sends it in the air.

Advantages: It goes up to midrange and its a good technique to slow down the oponent by burning his feet.

drawbacks/counters: you need a great timing in order to send it right below the oponent and it wont work if the enemy is standing on water. a way to counter is to gather some water below you or cancel it while its heading towards you.

hmm a good follow up technique? i would probably, after using this one, use the

(Suiton: Suidanha) Water Release: Severing Wave
Type: Offensive
Rank: S-rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description:After doing the Tiger hand seal, the user will quickly exhale a very thin stream of pressurized water that will be able to cut even rock. The most noteworthy feature of the technique is how fast the stream is and how sharp it can be. By moving his head, the user can alter the jet's cutting path, creating longer cuts or affecting bigger targets.

now i know most people may think "follow up a fire tech with water?" but i think this technique fits perfect in that scenario. the enemy is in the air, i perform one handseal and slice his body in half. he wont be able to escape it. if he uses wind to change his direction i would follow him with the stream of water so yeah...i think thats pretty solid.

"For the first jutsu, yes, if someone is behind a tree, and you know where they are, you can control where they fly. Be sure to listen properly to what I'm saying. I think a disadvantage here is that you need to maintain your focus to make sure the technique follows through. That's a general tip: make sure you can make the distinction between a jutsu that you can fire off 'spray and pray' style, or if you need to focus it with your chakra. That way, you don't misuse a jutsu and get called on it."

"Interesting intuition with the fire/water combination. I'll have to try it one day."
Souji said, thinking about the possibility for a moment.

"The next set of jutsus will have you performing the Monkey, Bird, Dog, and Ram hand seals. You'll 'flame on' as fire surrounds your body. You will then manipulate your fire to launch at your target in a spiraling fashion. That's a more concentrated version better for individual targets. Orrrrrrrr.... you can make the tornado expand and burst in a wide area attack, with the flames erupting upwards."

( Katon: Kaen Senpū ) - Fire Release: Flame Whirlwind
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing the required four handseals Monkey → Bird → Dog → Ram, fire erupts around the user's body and then launches towards the target in a spiraling-manner or expands engulfing the surrounding area in a tornado of flames. Anything nearby is incinerated as the flames erupt upwards.

"After that, weave the Tiger, Horse, Rat, Dog, and Tiger hand seals. Spit out a fire that surrounds the enemy and traps them. Apply your shape manipulation to change that flame into a spider-shape, like literally, a spider made out of fire. It will then attack your enemy for you while you continue with your combination. Try it on my clone..."

Souji created a Shadow Clone of himself.

( Katon: Benijigumo ) - Fire Release: Crimson Earth Spider
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing five handseals Tiger → Horse → Rat → Dog → Tiger , the user spews out fire that both surrounds the enemy and then transforms into a spider that attacks the enemy. This technique effectively traps and attacks an opponent at the same time, and can be used to force them into another attack.

I begin by gathering a great amount of chakra all around my body and when i feel that i have the right amount i perform the nescessary Monkey → Bird → Dog → Ram handseals and manipulate my chakra, transforming it to Katon. after that i release the katon, surrounding my body with fire and then i send the fire towards a dummy in a spiraling maner.

Advantages: you can chose to either send a spiraling flame at an enemy or to create a tornado that covers a pretty large area.

drawbacks/counters: one of the biggest drawbacks is probably the handseals you have to make in order to perform this technique. and the other one would be that this tecnique only goes up to midrange.

i have one question about this technique. lets say my enemy uses a fire technique on me. if im surrounded by the flames in this technique does that make me imune to his flames?
Jutsu 2

I gather a huge amount of chakra in my lungs and using chakra manipulation i transform it to Katon. at the same time i perfomr the 5 nescessary handseals Tiger → Horse → Rat → Dog → Tiger and afterwards i release the katon by exhaling it from my mouth, having the fire surround senpais clone and then, using shape manipultion i transform the fire into a giant spider who is attacking the clone.

advantages: its pretty much a two in one technique since it both surrounds your oponent, trapping them, and afterwards attacks them. this make's the technique really usefull because of the three jutsu per move rule.

drawbacks/counters:
the biggest drawback is again the handseals. five handseals takes a few seconds and that gives the oponent time to prepare a counter or to even be quicker and attack you before you even have the time to use this tech. i would probably counter this technique with the "water beast/mizu shishi". Imagine a wolf of water vs a spider of fire.

i got two questions. 1. if you add fuuton to this will it make the spider larger? 2. do you have to stay focused on the spider or does it attack on itself?

Souji listened to Snake Eyes' questions and stroked his chin, looking pensive. He then answered them.

"The time that your flames surround your body is very short, so defensively, it's kind of hard to say, because you basically launch it afterward. But... I guess it would stop lower ranked fire techniques, though using fire to fight fire is honestly kind of dumb, just gonna put that out there. Heh."

"And for the spider? It has a fixed size. Wind may increase its burning properties but won't increase its size. And the spider will attack on its own. A pretty creepy jutsu... you can use it to creep out the kunoichis."
Souji said this last part with a gleeful look in his eyes :snick:

"So, moving on. Keep up the good work, Snake Eyes."

"For the first jutsu, you basically breathe out a stream of fire at your target. Now, instead of an analysis of this one, tell me about jutsus you can simply 'spray and pray', versus jutsus you have to focus and maintain. What are the pros and cons of each?"

ohh dear god i just realized snake eyes dont talk.....This will have to be a secret between us ;)... from now il use Kakashi instead.
i like the way you teach, its very unusuall. most sensei's just stick with a template but i think its more interesting this way.

Kakashi begins by gathering a great amount of his chakra in his lungs and once he feels that he has the right amount he, using chakra manipulation, transform it to katon. right afterwards he pushs it up towards his mouth and exhale the chakra in the form of a powerfull stream of fire.

hmm by jutsus you have to focus and maintain du you mean like streaming techniques & projectiles you controll?

if so then

Pros: one of the pros with jutsus you have to remain focus over is that you can controll them and use them in a smart way that fits the terrain/ position of the enemy.

Cons: i honestly think streaming techniques and techiques that requires focus and controll has more cons than pros. for example you cant do any other technique while focusing on the one your using. if you loose your balance and fall down the stream ends and depending on the jutsu, it will probably loose its power. by maintaining focus on the technique you leave yourself open for attacks too.

Kakashi says with a serious look on his face.

jutsu 2

after that he gathers a fair amount of chakra in his right arm and then manipulates it, transfomring it to Katon. When he feels that he has the right amount he releases it from his hand by swinging it, creating a line of fire that then spreads out, creating a great wall of fire.

RL: i Honestly cant see how a wall of fire can protect you in real life..everything will simply go through it. metal, earth anything.

RP: Against water it can protect against up to C-rank Suiton, B-rank doton, B-raiton(not if the raiton technique is guided or can go from the sides. fuuton... a weak one will make the wall stronger but i think if the user stands to close to his firewall and then the enemy uses a strong fuuton technqie the wind will both increase the fire's size and blow it back. if the fire "bends" backwards there's a chance it can burn its user.

(Thanks man, my trianing is more RP oriented, that way I can hope my students enjoy it more. Filling out templates is good, but it can get tedious doing it over and over again.)

"Perfect comparison between the projectiles and streams. When making your moves, always keep this distinction in mind, because the key to any battle is proper USAGE of a technique. A single mistake can cost you."

Pulling out a sword from his equipment bag, Souji stabs the sword into the ground in between Kakashi (who had suddenly replaced Snake Eyes, Lol), and himself. It stands upright.

"Now, these are the last two of the B-ranks! For this first one, you'll need a sword. Use the one that I just placed here, or if you have one, you can use that too."

"What I want you to do, is to cut up your target with a series of well-placed strikes and slashes of your sword. Please be very thorough and detailed with your attack. Once you do that, you'll finish off by jumping up into the air, and fire off a basic fireball down on said target, who's probably all cut up. This is a nice two-part attack... that's a good and bad thing, so be sure to tell me why."

"For this exercise, perform the jutsu on this watermelon here, ha!"

Souji set up a watermelon on top of a tree stump for Kakashi to try the jutsu on.

( Katon: Hinotama no Mai ) - Fire Release: Fireball Dance
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will attack the opponent with a series of slashes with their sword and then finish up with jumping into the air above the target and releasing a powerful fireball down upon them.
Note: Requires a Sword.

"Alright, once you've roasted that fruit, the final B-ranked technique! So basically, you'll perform the Tiger hand seal and knead your Katon chakra, firing a stream of fire at your opponent's feet. Upon contact with your opponent, this will erupt upward and launch your enemy up into the air as a column of flames. This is a stream type technique, so be careful not to deactivate it until you complete the jutsu and bring your enemy up."

"Don't analyze this one, instead... answer my questions. Why is pushing your enemy up into the air advantageous in this context, and what jutsus would you use to follow up?"

"Try it on my clone here... if you're feeling confident, use it in a combination with another jutsu you know."

Souji creates a Shadow Clone.

What a waste...such a delicious fruit.

After saying these words Kakashi grabs the sword Souji senpai had stabbed in the ground and swings it in the air a couple of time, just too get used to it a bit. Afterwards he dashes forward towards the melon and swings the blade from the right side to the left, leaving a slash on the front of the melon, as the blade reaches the left side he swings it sideways down from left to right, leaving a cross on the melon and finishes it by swinging the blade from above, slicing the entire melon in half. He jumps up to the air and as he's airbourne he gatheres a great amount of chakra in his lungs and using chakra manipulation he transforms it into Katon. When he has the right amount he release's it by exhaling fire from his mouth and down, towards the remainings of the fruit, burning it entirely.

The pros and cons of two part attacks huh?

The cons of two part attacks are that if the oponent manages to avoid/counter the first part, the second part will most likely not happen at all, leaving the technique half done. And most of the time's the second part is the important one. like this technique for example. Lets say you attack your oponent with the sword and he manages to counter your blade attacks and even strike you himself, meaning you wont be able to release the fire.

Pros of it is that two part attacks also leave diffrent types of damage if done correctly. Let's use this technique as an example again. By using it properly in battle you can cause both cutts and slashes on your oponent(the poor watermelon) and you can burn him. And
one other thing is that if the oponent manages to just avoid, not counter the first part of your attack, you still have a chance to get him with your second part, meaning if my oponent manages to dodge, slip or weave my blade, there's still a chance that i will get him with the fire.

After that Kakashi gathers even more of his chakra and manipulates it, transforming it to katon and at the same time performs the nescessary tiger handseal. When he has the right amount gathered he shoots an intense stream of fire towards senpais clone's feet, launching senpai in the air, in an eruption of the intense flames. While the clone is airbourne i gather even more of my katon chakra and as he smoothly performs the tiger handseal, he releases the chakra in the atmosphere and uses it to create five ghost like flames and using shape manipulation turns them into demonic heads with horns, sending them towards the airbourne clone, one after one, striking him from the left, right and front.

why is pushing an enemy airbourne advantageous? Well an enemy is most vunerable when in air. There is no where to escape since he can't move and i have a clear view of him. with this tech the enemy is damaged while in the air, meaning it wont be that easy for him to have time and counter my techniques. With airbourne enemys i try to mostly use either projectiles that you can controll or a large fireballs because there's always a chance they will try avoiding a technique by using fuuton to blow them in a diffrent direction and if you then have projectiles that you controll, you can have them follow him. If you use a firebal, it would increse in size by the wind and cover the area the enemy is moving too.

yaaay A-rank!! :yayy::happy:
