Both of you are Jounin so,
Jounin - 1,050 Posts - 800 Chakra - 850 Health - B + A Rank - 4 elements - Battle Training.
And your primary element will be Fire. So both of you tell me everything you know about Fire style. After we've discussed what Fire release actually is we'll begin with molding Fire chakra and then the techniques.

Fire style is one of the 5 basic elements and its actually a nature transformation.
You can perform it by doing a hand seal and creating heated chakra inside your body and release it through your mouth. It is mainly used for offensive techniques and it is weak against water.
Fire consumes air, therefore it is strong against wind techniques but their relation is a bit more complex because, for the same reason, wind techniques help strenghen fire ones to some extent. Jiraiya also uses oil from his toad summonings to strenghten his fire techniques.
In the Narutoverse, the Uchiha clan is reputed for being well versed with fire release. Sasuke is even able to use fire to condition the weather and use Kirin. Also, the advanced form of fire release is known as blaze release and is the element used in the Uchiha's KG. Blaze release usually takes the form of amaterasu. Fire release is also present in other KGs, namely the ones mentioned on the scroll, which are lava release, dust release, and boil release.

Fire is one of the basic nature elements. Strong against wind and weak against water.
Fire release can be performed by doing a hand seal, moulding heated chakra in your stomach then releasing it through your mouth. It is consists of mid to long-ranged offensive techniques that cause combustive and explosive damage.

Good, you did your assessment.
Fire style does explosive and combustive damage. A good way to identify a fire release technique before its even performed is the Tiger hand seal.
Now what i have in my hands are a few chakra papers. Do you know what happens when you flow chakra through them?

It depends upon the user.
Fire - chakra paper will burn and turn to ashes.
Wind - chakra paper will cut in 2 pieces.
Earth - chakra paper will turn to dirt and crumble.
Lightning - chakra paper will wrinkle.
Water - chakra paper will get wet.
Fire - chakra paper will burn and turn to ashes.
