Fire is one of the basic elements that a shinobi could have. Just like any other elements, it can be useful and harmful at the same time. It is weak to water and goes along well with wind. Techniques associated with fire tends to create or cause a burning or explosive effect. Mostly, fire techniques vary from mid to long range coverage.

Okay, re-do concentration.
*stands on the pillar again and concentrates. This time, instead of keeping the heat off - I draw them in to a single point: at the center of my palm...after half a day, I feel like I was holding fire in my palms.*
Oh now, Sensei...I think I'm holding fire. It felt warm and nice. Feels like I'm holding a powerful thing in my hand.
