walks towards an empty field, the wind blowing slightly against his back, causing his vest to blow slightly towards his front. His mouse companion is perched upon his right shoulder, looking forward as it digs slightly into the shoulder, not out of discomfort, but the exact opposite. Guv reaches over and gently grasps him with his left hand and places him into a satchel that's bordering his left side of his pelvis. The mouse gleefully nibbles on some spare cheese in the satchel as Guv places it onto the ground. He then stretches his arms forward and awaits his senpai.*

was modern, clean and sharp. Two different styles of attire, forming a nice dichotomy between the old and new. Upon reaching mid-range from Guv, Aigis engaged the chakra thrusters of her Mandalorian Armor, boosting towards him and eventually standing short range from him; approximately two meters but no more than five. She nodded in acknowledgement and introduced herself.

"Greetings, I'm Aigis. I'm your fire senpai for today."

"Let's go over some basics before we begin. What is Fire, and how does it apply in our world's context? What are some of its strengths and weaknesses? Famous users? What about Kekkei Genkai that have fire as a component? Answer to the best of your ability, please."

Aigis bombarded the fellow with information, but this was who she was a an individual; quick, efficient, and perhaps slightly cold. Her demeanor had no ill will or harshness; rather, it was almost... robotic.

*Guv jerks back, his face somewhat shocked as Aigis flies towards him. Not something he sees everyday, yet he quickly regains his composure and stands straight, though very relax his in pose, his arms dangling with no rigidity and his knees slightly bent. He scratches his bandana as he begins to speak, his eyes darting around Aigis instead of directly at her:*

"Um... fire is one of the basic five elements found within this world, with its central abilities based around its explosive as well as scarring and scorching powers. It’s utilized through the gathering of both heat and chakra within your abdomen, combining the two to mold it into a scorching flame, and then expelling it through your lungs. This, thus, lends it to being a counter to fuuton element, as katon eats up the wind and uses it to gain more strength. However, it is weak against suiton, as the water dissipates the flames, causing mist to develop from the interaction bemongst the two elements. It also can be used in conjunction with raiton to increase raiton’s strength by creating a storm-like environment, although this requires much technical skill to accomplish.

The progenitors of this element are the Uchiha clan, such as Sasuke, Obito, and Madara, as well as the Sarutobi clan, such as Hiruzen and Konohamaru. The four central kekkei genkai and kekkei totta associated with the katon element are scorch release, which uses katon and fuuton, boil release, which uses katon and suiton, lava release, which uses katon and doton, and dust release, which uses katon, doton and fuuton. Another, more unique kekkei genkai is blaze release, which is a more specialized katon element associated with the Uchiha clan members who master the magyeko sharingan.”

*Guv then scratches his head again, hoping this answer satisfies this strange individual who calls herself senpai.*

Tilting her head as she listened to Guv, Aigis breathed a small sigh of relief. He had a decent understanding of fire, if so slightly textbook. Of course, there was nothing wrong with that... every student needed a good foundation in order to be able to succeed, and Guv had it. At the very least, she wouldn't need to hold his hand for every single jutsu that they were going to learn.

"Not a bad answer. Remember that fire is not part of one of the states of matter; it is energy manifested in physical form. But with shape manipulation, you can change the properties of fire, as we'll see from some of the jutsus on our list."

"Let's move from the technical to the more abstract. Take this, Guv-kun."

Aigis handed Guv a small piece of square chakra paper, with a distinct texture.

"This is chakra paper. It responds to one's elemental chakra."

"So what I want you to do is pretty basic. Visualize fire in your mind. What is fire to you? How does it feel? What are its limits, its possibilities? Very abstract outlines. Make sure it's vivid and concrete; fire is full of energy and life, yet has the capacity for great destruction."

"Once you have a solid idea of what fire is, mold and knead your chakra to take on the properties of fire, and channel it through your system and into the paper. This will determine if you have an affinity for the fire element. Your chakra should become Katon chakra, and if you're successful, the paper will burn up and turn into ashes."

"Proceed." she said curtly, while observing the look on her student's face.

*Guv grabs the paper with his right arm, his four pointer fingers grasping the paper from underneath in an upwards swipe, and then takes five or so steps back, to give some space between him and Aigis. He then takes a look at the paper, curious as to his senpai's words:

"What is fire to you? How does it feel? What are its limits, its possibilities?"

*Guv begins to think back, to the time when Medea and himself were lost in the woods at night. He lit a fire as Medea became cold in the night, there was a particularly bad wind that nip upon them both, causing goosebumps to appear on both of them. The fire, as it became brighter, began to envelop them, hugging them in a sort of warmth similar to that of a mother's hug. Thus, fire to him meant the warmth and comfort it brings to the cold and the lost. Thus does Guv then place the paper into a firm grasp, but then places the paper onto his heart, opening his hand gradually so then the paper directly touches his chest. He feels a warmth of sort develop within his chest, and begins to mold it into a gentle flame, one similar to that night...*

*Guv then begins to think of a different night... he remembers screams, and much fire... this one began to nip at his skin, burning his cloths. He remembers the helplessness, the agony, no matter how far he ran, the flames would always catch up... Thus does his molded flame turn ever more intense. His hand becomes heated, as he also feels the paper begin to weaken. He then grasps the paper again before moving it about two inches forward. He then concentrates the chakra from his chest to his hand, as if he were holding a torch. As the minutes go by, he feels his hand burning more intensely, and the paper begins to burn. After about four minutes, he feels nothing but dust in his hand. His eyes then focus upon Aigis' eyes, full of determination. He extends his arm perfectly straight before twisting his arm to expose his palm to his senpai. He opens his hand to show Aigis the hopefully properly burned paper.*

(This is the most unique and RP oriented response I've read to the chakra paper exercise yet. Great characterization, I liked it! U_U )

As Guv was concentrating, Aigis could see the subtle expressions he was making; simple twitches, succinct muscle contortions, even the occasional smile and subsequent frown. Surely his memories were quite vivid... perhaps she would inquire with him about it when they warmed up (no pun intended) to each other as they continued onward with training.

She reached towards the ashes of the burnt paper, gingerly taking a pinch from Guv's outstretched hand and rubbing them in between her pointer finger and thumb. Nodding in satisfaction, she looked at him.

"Such a thorough burn... you will have to tell me what you thought of. Perhaps later."

"Give me a brief description of the differences between shape and nature manipulation, please. How are they used together to create ninjutsu?"

"After that, we'll continue with the techniques."

"Give me a brief description of the differences between shape and nature manipulation, please. How are they used together to create ninjutsu?"

*Guv sighs and pats his hands, moving one hand up and the other down, and then reversing the motion, repeating this process several times to remove the dust from his hands. He then wipes his hands on the coordinating knee, and looks back at Aigis. Curious girl, this one, but perhaps it is merely kindness towards her student rather than legitimate curiosity, hard to read her as well. Almost robotic… it is an observation, moreso than the actual armor, as it seems to be symbolic of a clan he had heard of before, but he never assumed that they were literal… nah, too absurd. His body freezes as he realizes he still yet to answer her questions, so he scratches the back of his head with his right hand as he begins to reply:*

“Um, nature manipulation is essentially the process I just completed, the molding of chakra to resemble an element, and give this energy a physical representation within the world. Shape manipulation, meanwhile, gives this element different shapes, densities, motion, speed, width, size, and so on and so forth. By first manipulating the nature to resemble the one of which you wish to use and then manipulating the shape parameters to best utilize the ideal attack, you can then create techniques to help you out in battle. For example, you can manipulate the ground into creating a crater, by first concentrating earth chakra into your palms, and then using this chakra to weaken the dirt and soil around the enemy and lastly collapsing it using a quick, but powerful shock.”

*Guv then sighs again. He’s hopefully isn’t too pedantic this time.*

"Perfect explanation." she said, although it sounded more like a statement rather than praise. Either way, she was nevertheless impressed. Guv seemed well-traveled AND knowledgeable. Quite fascinating... she would have to acquire data on this individual.

Aigis set up three targets in front of Guv. They were very similar to Archer's targets. One of them was mid range (about 5 meters) from Guv, and the other two were mid range (6-15 meters) afterward.

"The first technique is quite simple. For the D-ranks, I'll just have you perform them... we will save the analyses for more complex, higher ranked techniques. For now, inhale and knead your Katon chakra in your mouth, and form small fireballs which you'll 'spit' when you exhale. Hit those three targets to test the range of the jutsu... let's hope your aim is good." she said this last part with a very subtle hint of playfulness.

*Guv tilts his head to the right about twenty degrees as he gently grasps his chin with his right forefinger and thumb. He then begins to gently rub his chin with his right thumb in a back-front motion as he closes his eyes. He was thinking about whether he should be cheap about this or not by combining this technique with a fuuton technique. Problem with that, though, is the distance between the targets... he then came up with a similar, although different plan.*

*Guv initiate a run, gathering up katon chakra in his mouth, remembering the heat and the burn from the paper exercise a few minutes ago. As he approached 2.5 meters from the target, he immediately release this chakra, causing a decent sized fireball to release from his mouth. It, however, hit the upper neck instead of the target clearly delineated on the chest of the target. He moved to the left then, and started to gather more of the same chakra into his mouth. As he moved from the target, however, the heat reminded him of that night... the burns, those damned screams... Not paying much attention to his chakra concentration, he immediately released it onto the new target, completely igniting it in flames through a rather large, harsh fireball. His eyes then light up, as he realizes that he completely lost the plot here, so to speak. He is now about 8 meters from the final target, so he stops running and turns to it, wishing to completely focus upon it. He gathers more chakra again, this time focusing on the type of fire that roasts meat and stews soups, the kind that the daimyo's chefs used to cook food for the daimyo's family... and Medea. He moves his head slightly upwards, holding his breath for a few seconds, before releasing the fireball, concentrating upon hitting the target from the side, about ten degrees off it. The fireball is about six inches wide and six inches long, a properly sized fireball. It hits the target perfectly as hoped, burning the target with a decent speed. He blushes though, realizing that he only properly hit one of the three targets.*

(Wow. Such progression. Many character. I'm really enjoying your posts, bud U_U )

Aigis watched as Guv performed the technique multiple times, each with its own variation. He was still getting the hang of it, but she could see his determination. She beckoned him to come back over to her once he completed the first technique.

"Good. Remember to always concentrate. Our ability to manipulate chakra and the elements comes from our willpower and fighting spirit. Don't be afraid to make fire your little... female dog, for lack of a better term. Exercise self-control and power; in the midst of battle, any distracting thoughts may interrupt your instinct. But... considering how most shinobi tend to monologue or have flashbacks for whatever reason... I won't hold it against you."

Taking Guv through a few simple breathing exercises to calm him down, Aigis moved on to the next technique. Reaching into her pouches on her waist, she handed Guv one of the quintessential ninja tools: shuriken. Five in total.

"Now, for this technique, channel your Katon chakra through your hands and into these shuriken. If you had a Sharingan or Byakugan, you would be able to see the infusion of the fire chakra into the tools. You'll throw these shuriken at those targets beside us, a new set, of course, and, once they hit, you will focus on the chakra on each shuriken and cause it to combust and ignite, basically turning the lodged shuriken into flaming shurikens."

"You could also ignite the shuriken while they're flying towards your target. It's up to you."

Aigis pointed to a new set of five targets. One Shuriken each? Simple...

(Katon: Kaen Shuriken Ranbu ) - Fire Release: Blazing Shuriken Dance

*Guv grabs the tools with his right hand, and looks puzzlingly at Aigis. He has heard of infusing chakra into weapons before, and even changing the nature of the chakra infused into the weapons into, say, electric or fire chakra. But to do so in mind air with a simple mental command...? Seems preposterous, but intriguing just the same. But how to do so...*

*Guv places the five shuriken into his left hand, and then grabs one with his right hand, moving it gradually up his pointer finger so then the final grip will be with one point down, and about an inch below the center being gripped on one side by the knuckle of the pointer finger and the other by the thumb. He then looks carefully at the first target, and goes into a offensive position, placing his left foot in front about one foot and his right foot about six inches behind him, the front foot being perfectly parallel about three inches off the target, and the behind foot being at an eighty degree angle from his body, with his body stance slightly bent. He begins to raise his right hand, holding the shuriken so then the points are perpendicular to the ground; he also raises his right foot when doing so. He begins to molds fire chakra, similar to that previously used (the cook's fire) and concentrates it into his right pointer finger and thumb, causing the shuriken to first feel warm, then quite hot. Bearing this sudden pain, he throws the shuriken in a rocking motion, his left foot going down as his right heel raises, his right arm going downwards as he releases the shuriken. The shuriken then hits the target, but duds downwards, nor does it light on fire. Clearly this is going to need some work :|.*

*Guv then goes to the next target, and repeats the motion, except this time concentrating extra chakra into the shuriken as it leaves his hand. He then releases the extra chakra throughout the shuriken, lighting it gently on fire. He grins, until he realizes that he completely missed the target, and lit the bush behind it on fire instead. Strike two, one more and then Guv should rethink this whole becoming a shinobi thing :|.*

*Guv repeats it a third time, focusing closely on the target, imaging it being an opposing shinobi threatening his life. He swiftly tosses the shuriken, and releases the chakra as it approaches one meter from the target, successfully lighting it on fire. He then repeats the process two more times, the first when the shuriken's about two meters from the target, the second when it's five meters. He then realizes the bush he lit on fire earlier is now ablazed, alongside about three feet around it. He backs up about five steps to reapproach Aigis, looking at the fire the entire time. He coughs:*

"Um, I have... a confession to make... I don't know any water jutsu... so yeah... erm... I'm sorry."

Watching the bushes and targets become set ablaze, Aigis didn't panic, instead kneading water chakra in her right hand. Holding out an open palm, she allowed water to gather in a small sphere on her palm, and fired (wow, no pun intended) off a few water blasts, dampening and putting out the fires.

You'll create Katon chakra to mix with your breath, but don't ignite it or turn it into fire. Instead, blow a clear, almost invisible gas from your lungs, in front of us."

"Whatever you've been visualizing up to now, continue doing it, because it seems to be working. The more jutsus we perform, the more proficient we'll get and the less we have to think about it."

*Guv begins forming the seals, at a pace of about 2 per second, given his lack of experience with them, and then begins to fill his lungs with a heat similar to that when he lies before a boiling pot of stew. He mixes the fire chakra similarly to how he did the blazing shuriken dance jutsu, and then exhales, causing about three feet of ash to expel from his mouth. He then does a simple jump back and concentrates a sizeable amount of fire chakra, similarly to the dragon flame blitz jutsu, and expels a fireball at the ash, causing it to combust. It's times like these when Guv wishes he had the money for marshmallows, but now is not the time to worry about such things. He then turns to Aigis, with a curious look on his face:*

"I have two questions Aigis-senpai: First, can I use a wind jutsu to expel this ash at a quicker pace, and also, what's the difference between the Dragon Flame Blitz and the Small Fire jutsus?"

Ash? Why Ash?

Aigis spoke to Guv.

"Guv, I believe I said the technique expels a gas... an invisible one, like methane, for example. We won't learn ash-based fire techniques until later... but I suppose I can commend your effort for thinking ahead. Please make sure you pay attention."

"For your question, the primary counter to this flammable gas is wind, which would blow it away from your target area. It wouldn't be a viable combination on your end, since the gas is simply D-ranked. However, if it were used against you, you could use the wind against it."

"I will have you perform the gas technique again, properly... but this time, let's use it in a combination with the last D-ranked technique. I want you to knead your Katon chakra in your limbs, whether your arms or legs. You'll ignite your own limb on fire, creating something like... a 'Fire Fist', for example. Don't worry, as long as you have proper control, you won't burn yourself."

"Once you've done that, you can either use your flaming fists to increase the damage of your basic taijutsu attacks, or throw it forward like a small blast of fire. For this exercise, simply throw it forward into the GAS you create."

*Guv blushes, realizing he did the first jutsu completely wrong, and begins to reform the seals again at the same pace as before. He then mold his chakra into the fire chakra that he has been using for a while and releases it, but this time holding a more balanced mixture between the fire chakra and the air. This causes a gas to expel out about four feet, more than the last time. He then begins to concentrate more chakra around his right arm, causing a slight fire to envelop it. It singes slightly, but doesn't burn the arm, as Guv continually moves the chakra in a slight back-and-forth movement to prevent it from concentrating on the same spot for too long. He then moves the chakra forward on his right palm, where it singes his palm. He then straightens his right arm and releases the fire by swinging his right arm about 1 foot as if he's throwing a ball as he jumps back about 1 foot to make sure he's not stuck in the explosion. He then looks at slight glance at Aigis, as he wipes his brow with the back of his left hand, hoping that this time everything went okay.*

Aigis simply stands there, staring at the flames Guv had created from the explosion. It's almost as if she's completely fixated on it while it burns out.

Once the flames finally die, she snaps out of her trance-like state and turns back to Guv.

"Well done. Let's move on to the C-rank techniques."

Poof. Aigis created a Shadow Clone.

"The first of the C-rank techniques will have you creating a small, short flame out of your Katon chakra. In contrast to other fire techniques, this one doesn't rely on causing significant burns or incinerating targets. Rather, it uses the sheer heat of fire to cause effects such as disorientation, dehydration... basically, an accelerated heat stroke."

"Try it on my clone here, and see how she reacts. The flames will surround her."

"Also, from now on, I want you to state your opinions on each jutsu. That opinion can consist of aspects such as advantages, disadvantages... all the usual protocol. I won't expect long-winded explanations of each technique, as some are less complex than others. But occasionally, I will ask you questions to test your understanding of certain jutsus."

After Guv had finished and analyzed the first technique, Aigis presented the next one.

"This next technique is the Great Fireball Technique. It's self-explanatory, and I'm sure you've seen every Uchiha throughout history pride themselves with this jutsu, making this their clan's trademark attack, and rite of passage, of sorts. You'll weave a series of handseals," she demonstrated, "and apply your shape and nature manipulation to condense your Katon chakra into a fireball."

"The strength of the fireball is linked to the user's own willpower. Even at its most basic level, it's still quite powerful."

"But more importantly, there are two variants to this jutsu: a simple fireball, or a stream of fire that tethers to a large fireball at the end, allowing you to control the size of the fireball based on how much chakra you apply to the stream. I want you to try both types, one on each of those targets beside us."

"This presents us an interesting situation. There are jutsus that you can 'spray and pray' without a second thought, and there are techniques that require you to focus your chakra in order to maintain it."

"What are your insights into these two types of jutsus? What could be the differences, as well as positive and negative aspects of each type?"

Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger, a ninja inhales air, and utilizing a large amount of fire chakra, spews a large fireball from their mouth after blowing through a ring made by the thumb and index finger of the user, incinerating everything in range. The fireball ignites externally. The fire ball can present itself in 2 forms: it can either be created by a stream of fire and sustained as a gigantic ball of flames in front of the user spanning up to short range or be released as a slightly smaller ball of fire which will travel towards the enemy up to mid range.

*Guv prepares katon chakra in his mouth yet again, this time condensing it into a light fire. He then runs towards the first clone and releases this chakra by blowing it towards the clone's face, causing it to be overwhelmed by the chakra. It serves as both a distraction, and by damaging the opponent, albeit by an unusual method. Pretty easy, at least no ash came out this time.*

*Guv then pays attention to Aigis' performance of the second jutsu, and sighs. More hand seals, wonderful... He begins to perform the hand seals, at the same pace as the last two times, while inhaling air. Once the final hand seal as been performed, he begins to concentrate a great amount of katon chakra in his mouth, and mixes it with the already inhaled air, his cheeks turning red both because of the heat, and because he hasn't breathed for a few seconds. He then forms a ring with his thumb and pointer finger with his right hand, and exhales through it, causing a condensed fireball about 7.5 inches wide and 7.5 inches long to charge at Aigis. He then creates a clone that charges with the fireball as Guv runs to the left, preparing the same hand seals at a slightly higher pace. The strategy was this: the first jutsu has a hidden use of serving as more of a distraction than as a attack, because the use of heat isn't a normal strategy in most fights, and thus shinobis usually don't have a counter for this. This is especially effective on Aigis, he could imagine, as she's wearing armor... yeah. As the opponent is dealing with the small fire stream jutsu, the Uchiha Tears ahem, Guv means Great Fireball jutsu would head towards Aigis, with the silhouette of a clone behind it. This, then directs her attention towards the fireball, and thus the clone, as Guv finishes his preparation for the other use of the Great Fireball jutsu. At about five meters from Aigis, at about a thirty degree angle from her right, Guv fires a stream of fire from the ring, causing a fireball about ten inches wide and ten inches tall to go towards Aigis's back, in case she decided to dodge the previous jutsu through a backward motion.*

*Guv then looks towards the true Aigis, choosing not to see the devastation that he just left, as he begins to speak towards her inquirement towards the differentiation of the Great Fireball Jutsu methods:*

"Quite simply, the spray and pray method, although more constant and less simply countered through a simple jutsu, requires a constant stream of both chakra and attention to continue using it, thus leaving you opened for counters. Meanwhile, the simple fireball, although easier to counter, allows you to prepare a new jutsu as soon as the fireball leaves the ring, thus not holding you up with continuing the jutsu. Both have their usages in certain situations, and can be used in a combination attack, as I have shown you, by utterly destroying... those bushes... this is going to be a frequently occurring thing isn't it?"

*Guv sighs as he looks down. He then grabs some cheese out of his pouch and begins munching on some as he holds a small chunk of simple cheddar cheese in his right palm about four inches from Aigis' chest. He looks up at Aigis' face, his eyes meeting hers, as he inquires:*

"Want some?"

"Unfortunately, most students don't realize the destruction we cause as a result of the performing of so many techniques. In any other universe, we may have been tried for arson. Fortunately, though, we have delegated training grounds for such purposes. After we're done here, the grounds will be restored and reused later; a marvel of environmental preservation."

"Spray and Pray techniques can be used quickly and are generally faster to execute than streams. Since you can simply fire a fireball, for example, you can perform another technique to follow up behind it in a nice combination. The problem is that their nature makes them easier to counter if used on their own, especially the weaker ones."

"Stream techniques don't allow you to perform other techniques while you maintain said jutsu, but you have a greater degree of control over what where and what the jutsu is and does. I prefer using jutsus of this type at the end of my combinations, since my last moves typically won't require any other 'obligations' afterwards."


Aigis places a lighter in Guv's hand and walked a distance from him.

"Alright, let's proceed. You'll channel your Katon chakra through that lighter. Then, open it and flicker it on, creating an open flame. Toss it at the ground in front of you. From the chakra that you infused into that lighter, I want you to cause that chakra to ignite the lighter and form a wall of flames the erupt in front of you."

"It can defend from basic attacks and lower-ranked jutsus bar water-based ones. Here, let me demonstrate."

Aigis suddenly threw a few kunais at Guv from mid-range, aimed at his chest. She expected something like that would spur a reflexive reaction from him; in particular, to use the Wall of Flames technique to defend himself.

"The second jutsu will have you performing the Tiger hand seal. By manipulating your fire chakra, you can do of two things from there."

"The first variant of the jutsu has you stomping the ground, creating a stream of flames that runs across the ground, towards your targets."

"The second variant has you spewing a stream of flames that forms rings of fire that travel through the air, towards your target."

"For this exercise, try both, and visualize a scenario where each one would be useful. As always, ask me questions if you have any."

Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal by utilizing their fire chakra, the user will create a stream of fire that can be manipulated into several forms (rings of fire that runs on the ground or a circle of fire flying through the air) before striking the target. It can also be used in combination with Wind Release: Divine Wind to create a tornado of flames, or with Wind Release: Godly Wind from the Mountains to release a massive inferno. The stream of fire can be created by stomping the ground (running across the ground in this case) or by spewing the flames (which will form an airborne ring of flames that will travel towards the enemy).

*Guv grabs the lighter with his right hand. He would normally look puzzling at it, but with Aigis tossing kunai at him, he sadly had no time for philosophizing towards why he would ever carry a lighter with him. Luckily for Guv, lighter's are easily lit, and already have the fire element made within them, so he concentrated some katon chakra within it and threw it gently onto the ground about four inches in front of him before taking two swift steps back. The lighter bursts open, causing a flame wall eight feet high and two feet wide to form approximately two feet from Guv's current position. This stops the kunai, but while they flip, Guv concentrates some fuuton chakra from his elbows to the palms of his hands, and then claps. He then swiftly pushes out with his palms, causing the kunai to now be propelled towards Aigis, along with some katon chakra, although it probably wouldn't reach her given the distance between the wall and Aigis.*

Description: A simple technique that when the users hands are clapped together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale. This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.

*Guv then runs to right, so then he's at a 90 degree angle to Aigis' left, about 5 meters from her position, and forms a tiger seal with some swiftness before stomping onto the ground with his right foot forward approximately one foot forward with some rigidity, his left heel up slightly, thus shifting his weight forward with his foot. Some katon chakra is then expelled, causing a stream of flames about one foot tall, but only six inches wide, to travel towards Aigis' back. Guv then rolls to his left, making himself be about the same distance as before, but this time at a 45 degree angle from her left, and forms another tiger seal before releasing it, in stream form, towards Aigis' chest.*

*Guv then stands up, patting both of his knees gently before beginning to speak while Aigis hopefully counters:*

"The difference between the two methods seems to be how the rings are formed, with one being formed in midair, while the other being formed on the ground. Thus, this leads to difference counters, with the ground format being easier countered with doton techniques that concentrate upon breaking the ground or forming walls, and the air format being easier countered with mist or large spraying suiton techniques. Also, it wasn't nice not taking the cheese, I mean, it's only the best food in the world ;_;"

*Guv sighs, he guesses that not everyone has the same penchant for cheese as he does... poor fools, they have no idea what they are missing ;_;*

(Firstly, apologies for the late reply. I came down with a severe cold this past week :T_T: and secondly, JonTron? 10/10)

Aigis felt somewhat guilty for not accepting Guv's cheese before. She reddened in embarrassment and looked at her feet, taking a breath.

"When I really get into training, I often shut out unnecessary information. Let's take a short break."

Politely taking the cheddar from Guv, she nibbled at it while they took a water break.

Hopefully, she had overcome her lactose intolerance she had as a child...

Holding the cheese, she continued to speak after the break, forming two Shadow Clones of herself once again.

"This next technique was one that Sasuke used against Orochimaru during their encounter in the Forest of Death at the Chuunin Exams. First, use a cord or some kind of ninja wire to wrap and trap your desired target-in this case, my clone. You'll tie them against an environmental object that's big enough to restrain a full-sized shinobi... a tree, a large rock formation, or whatever fits the context of your situation. You could also simply trap them with the cord and nothing else, but that gives your enemy more leeway to free themselves."

"When you've trapped my clone, weave the four handseals Snake, Dragon, Rabbit, and Tiger. Exhale and breath a stream of fire along the wire. Think of it as a lit up fuse running down the cord. The fire will then burn whatever's at the end of the wire; my trapped clone, for example."

"I want to start talking about when to counter techniques. If you were caught in this jutsu, when do you think the most optimal time would be to begin your counter?"

Taking another nibble of the cheese, her stomach rumbled a little.

Description: The user will perform four handseals Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger , and breathe fire along a cord or any other type of long object, which rushes forward in straight line catching the enemy on fire. A line of enemies can be used as the conductor as well. The flames are meant to target, and assault the enemy's upper body just like a projectile weapon.

"Once you've performed and analyzed the first jutsu, use the Tiger hand seal and release a flaming breath from your mouth that turns into multiple projectiles that can pelt your opponent with fiery annoyances. Try it on the second clone."

"This jutsu says you can combine it with Earth Dragon Bullet. Aside from making flaming mud balls, what would be the other advantage of combining Earth and Fire?"

Her face contorted to one of concentration. She felt something... now, it was a endurance test.
