The reason why I want to learn taijutsu is to become a better Roleplayer. It sounds quite basic but to me Taijutsu is highly underrated in our RP.
Role playing is acting out a character of your choice, yet it's not done due its fullest. In naruto most fights if not every fight has some sort of taijutsu involved, even if it's just a simple punch/kick, but in our RP not one punch is thrown in most battles, you just see them stand in one spot and spam jutsu's.
Each roleplayer is too scared to even get close to their opponent.
I plan to use it to make Role playing more realistic, since it's hardly used in our RP. A few punches or a clash with kunai's won't hurt.
Mkaaayyy, let's go over what you said.
- You are correct when you say Taijutsu is underrated. It is, to my belief, the most detailed art there will ever be in role playing. It is very powerful, requires precision striking of the body, and a lot of the law of physics. Remember to always be specific whenever battling with Taijutsu.
- Haha, yes, the point of role playing is to enjoy it. I hope you do so very much.
Alright, begin by doing push-ups.
Tell me the significance of warming up before heavy exercise.
I plan on it . Wheres my sexy green jump suit O_O?
I begin by lieing down with my palms on the floor. I keep my hands at shoulder level and my feet apart.
I keep my eyes in front of me rather than facing down. I straighten my arms and push my body up off the floor. I maintain my hand position, while keeping my body straight. I keep my breathing in a rhythm. I lower my body slowly towards the ground, while keeping my body straight and my feet together.
I keep my knees of the ground while I push myself back up.
Warming up before each session is important since muscles are stiff in their normal state. Warming up warms up our muscles and our body temperature. The heat allows our muscles and tendons to me more extendable. It increases more blood flow allowing more oxygen to reach the working muscles. It prevents injuries, and it also prepares a person mentally and physically.
Very descriptive push-up. I honestly have nothing more to offer on that except a bright future in RP.
You are correct about oxygenating the muscles and the brain before exercise. It also gets the chakra flowing, which is important, as some Taijutsu methods actually require the use of charging chakra into your hands and feet.
Alright, let's get going.
My clone is going to stand mid range from you.
Begin with a running start and then punch him with a fist.
Explain why making a fist is important when punching.
Lets do this !
I begin by composing myself and getting into a fighting stance. Once ready I channel chakra towards my feet to increase my running speed. I sprint towards him at a fast pace. Once I begin to reach him, I clench my right fist, tightening it. I also channel chakra to it to increase the power and speed of the punch.
I eject my arm towards your clone, with my fist connecting with the clones chest, causing him to poof.
A clenched fist deals more damage than an open fist since its more compact.
I remember reading something years ago about it reduces the strain on the nerves located on your neck or something O_O
Anyways, let's go over your move. Very good, but could use a lot more. (If you don't mind me drilling you a bit, because I see potential in you ^_^)
-Stances are definitely important, but when locked in a close combat, there's no time to prepare yourself, so you must consider that many of the actions you take happen in split seconds. But good job bringing up stances.
-Chakra to your feet is definitely a great addition, but don't forget to mention the impact of actually running faster. It gathers momentum, which in turn, according to Newton's first law of physics, states that the object keeps moving until it friction slows it down or something obstructs its path. Imagine the additional power your punch would pack if you had a lot of running starts.
-Good, you remember to state your right fist. Striking with your dominant hand will always be stronger.
-Be specific where you punch someone. A real person would not poof like a clone. If you actually aim your knuckle into the base of the ribs of where the heart is located, you could potentially crack the ribs and cause the bone to sink into the heart, causing an immediate death to any person.
Good emphasis on the fist. ^_^ However, while it does indeed give you more power (with the thumb tucked under your fingers, by the way), it also protects your hands as the shape of it is extremely strong (more like an unbreakable ball).
And I'm not sure about that. O_O I only took Taekwondo for like three years......
Okay, great. I'll show you a bit of how I type my Taijutsu moves so you can get an idea of the type of detail that is necessary to execute Taijutsu:
Because you created your clone at mid range, I am allowed a running start. I dash to your clone, making sure to place down my dominant foot upon the ground before I strike you with my left fist in a 90 degree angle directly beneath your chin, immediately following up with my right fist onto the base of your sternum, to knock you into the air.
Due to the impact of the move, you are suspended momentarily in the air as I overtake you by charging chakra into my feet to jump higher than your current position. My eyes are focused upon your groin (actually, that is what is shown in the video), slamming you down onto the ground with my left fist.
I withdraw four large shurikens and pin your body down at all four corners, then I allow the wind and my chakra to rotate me in a 360 manner, slamming into you as I complete the move, causing you to react to centripetal force and take heavy damage as you spin away from me.
Anyways, you've passed your first jutsu.
Now, this next one may be simple, but also includes a lot of elements.
(Gangeki) - Rock Attack
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 10
Description: The user will strike their opponent with a strong punch to the chest
Begin with a running start, then execute a kick from the air onto my clone's face.
Thanks for the corrections sensei really appreciate it ^_^
I begin by channeling chakra towards my feet to gain speed and to deal greater damage. Once ready, I sprint towards your clone while keeping close to the ground. Just a few yards from him I spring up using my left foot to take off into the air. Whilst in the air, I swing my right leg around whilst pointing out my toes keeping it straight, to connect with the clones temple.
Very good. ^_^ Here is a brief definition of cause and effect. For example, you used a Wind Jutsu to blow away the explosive tag, thus, I can follow up with a prepared fire move to disregard your Wind Jutsu, so that it overcomes it and is sent back at you two times stronger.
By taking the upper hand, you can juggle your opponent around and have them react the way you want to, as we are all forced to make moves and survive in a battle. This is most often used in chess, where it is necessary to be able to predict several moves ahead of the opponent.
You've expressed the cause (the kick on my clone's temple), so now, what is the effect (what do you do to finish him off and what happens to him when you kick him)?
Thanks I'll keep the cause and effect in my mind ^_^
Once I kick the clone right on his temple, the clone begins to become dazed. ( If kicked harder it would result in knock out)
I take advantage and deliver swift kick with my left foot to the clones jaw, while he's still dazed.
Ummm A 180 kick is when you extend any one of your legs into a kick which you hold. Can't really explain so I'll post a picture O_O
You must be registered for see images
A 360 kick would be a roundhouse kick. The user swings one of his legs while rotating his whole body in a 360 motion. The user can spin to his left and use the front of his foot to hit the opponent or spin to his right to use his heel to hit the opponent.
Timing is crucial in every battle. If someones timing is off in a battle, this can lead to his defeat. Power is also crucial in every battle since you want to deal damage otherwise the battle can prolonged and cause fatigue.
The difference between these two is timing is the lead up to the attack, you wait for the right time to attack the opponent, while power is the complete opposite. Power is the attack itself. Power can come in different forms, physical power, which is the physical side of the battle, and metal power. If a ninja is walking into a fight with a weak mentality this can lead to his or hers defeat.
