(Doton Kekkai: Dorō Dōmu) - Earth Style Barrier: Earth Prison of Magnificent Nothingness
Ad: Good jutsu to aid in tiring the opponent out due to them constantly having their chakra depleted while also wasting their energy & time trying to break through the dome
Dis: due to the constant need to leave the user's hands placed on the Dome, this limits the options for the user to carry out any other jutsu & leaves them vulnerable to a close range attack.
(Doton: Domu) – Earth Release: Earth Spear Technique
Ad: Great to use in close range situations as the user's body hardens at a fast speed, could also be used in conjunction with such a jutsu as the above to help defend against any surprise attacks. The user also maintains the same speed even with the added weight of this if I am not wrong
Dis: If I am wrong about the weight/speed issue then that would be a downside towards this jutsu, cannot think of any others apart from the basics.
(Doton: Iwa Keiro) – Earth Style: Rock Trail
Ad: Great to cause an opponent to lose balance while taking excessive damage from the pillars, opens up a vast amount of options to attack with due to the opponent being occupied with the jutsu & being pushed into the air
Dis: The "pillars" emerging from the ground covers a small area, giving the opponent less of a problem when trying to counter/evade from it, but saying that it would have to be done with a small gap as the pillars themselves are large enough to knock an opponent off the ground.
(Doton: Nentsuchi Otoshi) – Earth Release: Sticky Earth Drop
Ad: Great to use with an earth jutsu that lowers the ground under the opponent, leaving them to begin drowning within the mud & making it very difficult to escape. using a fire jutsu from above after would be beneficial to turn the mud to lava & leaving the opponent no opening to exit from as the incoming fire blocks it off.
Dis: As said the jutsu itself takes time to hit the target, leaving the user open for an attack & is also easily noticeable due to a shadow being cast under the opponent from the mud itself.
(Doton: Otoshibuta) – Earth Release: Dropping Lid
Ad: Great to block off the opponent or even blocking incoming jutsu just as the opponent releases it, can be used to block both people within it which would be an advantage to a doujutsu user.
Dis: Takes time to create leaving similar disadvantages as the above jutsu.
