Good good. Well, let's make this much simpler. Post here 3 genjutsu techniques you don't know yet, and analyze them for me. Whatever you feel the need to point out about the technique, + any questions.

( Magen: Chō Shinka ) - Demonic Illusion: Butterfly Evolution
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user makes one handseal, placing the opponent in a genjutsu. The user then tosses a large number of explosive tags at the opponent. To the opponent, it looks as if they are countless butterflies. The opponent then believes they are sinking into the ground, in reality making them immobilized; this allows the user to place one final exploding tag on their forehead before detonating all the tags simultaneously.

One of the more useful canon Genjutsu techniques. It makes the opponent believe that the countless explosive tags thrown towards them are in fact butterflies, before they begin sinking into the ground, immobilizing them in reality. Being slightly harder to counter compared to other canon Genjutsu techniques, this technique requires a bit more thought. The user has to focus on the movement of the papertags/butterflies, noticing they're not flapping their wings or maintaining their flight, but just gliding through the air like thrown projectiles before residing in the air around the opponent. The best technique in countering this Genjutsu would be the hardening technique, using the armour to defend against the blast whilst also extending a small pillar inward to generate a sufficient level of pain to purge the genjutsus's effects.

( Nehan Shōja no Jutsu ) - Temple of Nirvana Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes one handseal, placing all the targets in the area under an illusion where feathers appear to fall from the sky. This slowly puts the opponents to sleep after one turn.

An odd Genjutsu technique which causes a rain of feathers from the sky, which cause an drowsiness before putting the opponent to sleep after one turn. Since its a slow-acting technique, nothing prevents the opponent from breaking this technique freeform via the Pain release method, allowing the opponent to converse their alloted jutsus slots. I can only see this technique being useful if the user is directly above the opponent whilst positioned on top of a winged summon. If the type of feathers can be controlled, the opponent can made to believe the rain of feathers might just be the summon molting/dropping some feathers.

( Kokuangyo no Jutsu ) - Bringer-of-Darkness Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes one handseal, causing the opponent to believe they have been trapped in a world of infinite darkness, where their sense of sight is useless. It is capable of affecting multiple targets within range. However, it does not negate their other senses.

An interesting technique, but quite easy to counter. It essentially relies on inhibiting the opponent's sense of sight, causing them to see complete darkness. Its often countered with the reasoning that "the sudden blindness had no process behind it, no blinding light nor the physical removal of the eyes", making it easy for even the most unskilled of opponents to successfully break this technique. However, when utilized with techniques such as Dropping Lid, which cast a looming shadow over the battlefield, the blindness caused by this technique becomes more believable.

Well, it's such a dark darkness (and quite unnatural too) that even dropping lid doesn't come close to cover it. But the rest is all very fine. Great analysis, your previous trainings paid up. Post 3 more techniques :)
