[B]How you would use it in battle:[/B] use it against lower ranking shinobi efffectively maybe on water so they fall into the water and drown quickly and painless. key point painless still in genjutsu.
[B]How you would counter it:[/B] a little pain, deduce the genjutsu, kai as shown very effective against the jutsu.
[B]How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):[/B]yumicika smiles very sly like almost like a snake. with his head tilted slightly down and one eye visible through his hair. he looks at the clone and proceeds to form a single handsign beneath his cloak exetnding the range to the clone. effectively manipulating the clones senses and perception i twist and employ my will into the clone making feather's appear to be drifting down from above and the clone slowly falls into a sleep trance. the clone falls face first to the ground and yumichika and cass simply smile and laugh together.

(Kokuangyo no Jutsu) - Bringer-of-Darkness Technique

Description: The user makes one handseal, causing the opponent to believe they have been trapped in a world of infinite darkness, where their sense of sight is useless. It is capable of affecting multiple targets within range. However, it does not negate their other senses.

One of the more common techniques, perform the single hand seal, causing you to initiate the technique, the target will think they are in a world of pure darkness, which in end makes there sight useless, this can trap more then one target in it also. Just the only thing, the target can still use s/his other senses. This technique is simply one of the more used techniques in genjutsu.

[B]How you would use it in battle:[/B] at rocky terrain i would use this jutsu that way the enemy does not move around too quickly. also use it with a taijutsu attack.

yumichika dances and twirls around on his tippy toes, smiling and frolicking. he then stops and see's another clone. growing a little more irritated yumichika grinds his teeth and grimaces a little, performing a single handsign he triggers the genjutsu against the clone and darkness falls around the clone leaving nothing more then emptiness and quietness througout. the clone seems to look flustered and shocked by what he is seeing, i release the genjutsu and the clone looks to adjusts his eye's from the change in light.

Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.

Reason I wanted to teach you this last was, cause it's can be different ranks, depending on the amount of posts you have, Sage users such as yourself, are able to break out of S-rank and below genjutsu based techniques. This technique works by 'spiking' the chakra of the caster. The only genjutsu this won't break out of is, MS level techniques: To get yourself out of a genjutsu of such, you need to explain how you know it's a genjutsu and how you figured it was such.
Now I will cast a simple one on you, and I want you to explain how you know it's a genjutsu.

good thing I covered this with lok already. anyway oh goddamn a fireball falling from the sky oh dear me, wait it's not even putting off any heat and fireballs don't fall from the sky they come from an enemy. the last thing I remember was cass doing a handsign I wonder if he's seduced my mind. forming a single handsign I spike my chakra and gaining control of my sight once again seeing cass smiling at me him with is sly tricks.


key points for using kai is that if you are under a genjutsu where it restricts your movements forming the handsign to spike your chakra will never be possible so relying on pain is also a good point and or nagashi a full body chakra surge. just stating theres a few unique ways to break free but the main points are deduction of the jutsu's themselves that is the focal point that needs focused on first. once cannot just say oh I'm obviously in a genjutsu you have to go through the motions and key points and triggers.
