(Doton: Dosenki) - Earth Release: Mudslide Technique

Description: After performing a sequence of three hand seals Dog → Ram → Boar the user then creates a small wall of earth to rise up from the ground infront of them and cause a mud slide to form from the wall and directs it towards the enemy target/s to try engulf them.

Pretty self explanatory perform the handsigns a wall of earth rises up and causes a mudslide on the wall

I would use this jutsu, to distract the opponent. It seems to be pretty large scale, so you could use it to destroy trees or something preventing the opponent from taking cover.

Ways to counter:

I would use Chidori Thunderstorm to completely destroy the mudslide, and continue towards the opponent.

Also for a strong point it can throw off the enemy's foothold keep that in mind if they are standing on the slope.

(Doton: Dochūbaku) - Earth Release: Landslide Technique
Rank: A

Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra to create the earth infront of them to turn to a loose like quality and create a landslide that is directed towards the enemy target.

Also a pretty straight forward technique requires you to manipulate the ground loosening it and directing a flow of earth towards your enemy.

Mid range is not a horrible point or really even a weak point another weak point would be that the user needs to be touching earth to manipulate it.

Also hurricane fist I believe only maneuvers you a few feet if I remember correctly. So maybe a way to counter this would be a widespread wind to actually stop it completely and outrank it.

I believe it is a weakness. It can't be used short or long range. Meaning it can't be used around 66% of the time in battle. I think Hurricane Fist can move you from short to mid. Or even from mid to long range.

Yes but the majority of the battles all start out at mid range 100% of the time unless stated otherwise.
Anyways moving on I also double checked the hurricane fist and it can move you one range difference.

(Doton: Kujo Joushou Iwa Chuuseki) - Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars

Description: This jutsu causes gigantic pillars of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground. This is a even greater scaled Earth Release: Rising Spikes and is large enough to impale a summoning technique.

This should not need explaining. Use your earth chakra to make pillars rise up from the ground. Just remember that these spikes are on a way bigger scale used for impaling giant summons so it would be harder to impale smaller objects but still possible none the less.

Description: The user lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

You've seen this plenty of times.

Description: By performing the snake hand seal the user will use this technique to petrify whatever or whoever is touching them, causing the object in question to start to crumble. Due to essentially being turned to stone, the affected target considerably increases in weight. The afflicted person or object of this techniques effects increases their power by +10 to techniques but reduces their speed.
Note: The target stays petrified for 1 turn.


Use your doton chakra to lighten your body.

You could use it to materialize a giant hole in the ground under your opponent. That wouldn't be a fun fall.

Ways to counter:

It doesen't really cause damage, but I've seen people use it to cause you to fall through a giant hole in the ground. I would just use wind stream or something to slow my descent.

I would use this from mid air, on an earth golem (preferably the giant golem with the super added weight jutsu) it would have the force of a bomb going off.

Ways to counter:

Simplest way is to avoid getting touched. Although you could use nagashi to counter it, if worst comes to worst.
