[Discussion] Finishing Blow

And no it's not a NaruSasu reference...

But I think one of two things will most likely happen.
Sasuke will not finish the strike and stop before he actually finishes off Naruto. Or vice versa. That might be a clone, or Naruto somehow gains the upperhand and will about to deal a finishing blow and also stop.
One of two things could also be explained with the bandages that Naruto has. He could either catch the chidori which is the common opion of most, or he could use the rasenshuriken again and permanently damage his tissue like Tsunade warned him about after the kakuzu fight.

Either way I believe the next chapter finishes the fight and I'm actually stoked to see that taijutsu battle in anime form, hopefully the same animator as "madara uchiha" gets that one.

Thoughts? I know there's a lot of rumors floating around.

I don't think he was lying. I could see one of them outright losing. Regardless of who wins I still see the winner withdrawing from a finishing blow. If Naruto wins he'll probably try to get sasuke to come with and sasuke will probably retreat. If sasuke wins he'll probably tell Naruto to stay out of his way, and then run off.

or kakashi steps in to stop sasuke like how minato stopped him from killing obito. lots of possibilities.

I'd rather kakashi do it than lets say, sakura. Kakashi could at least say something of relevance from his experience with obito. And he's always been a mentor to sasuke ever since sasuke became the next person to use chidori.

Kakashi won't interfere, most likely Naruto will probably catch the Chidori attack that or he will go poof and be seen in Sage Mode

I don't think that the conflict can be settled if another character interferes. One major reason that they're having this fight in the first place is because they haven't had a chance to complete one properly.

In order for the Alliance and The Village to live Sasuke must lose get that in your head, no if or buts about it. Their must be a winner and a loser,its call life.
