Can someone please explain to me how this works?
Itachi used this a few times in the series.
As I understand, genjutsu affects the senses of your opponent
and gets into effect by controlling your opponents chakra flow :
Senses:
-Vision.
-Hearing.
-Smell.
-Taste.
-Touch.
So how does this finger genjutsu work?
I brainstormed about it and came to a few possiblities:
Number 1.
Does he trick you by making you follow his finger up till its at his eye lvl? (tricking you basically into looking in his eye).
So basically it is not truly a finger genjutsu. It would be Vision genjutsu (with eye contact).
Number 2.
Is he able to release a quick long stream of chakra from his finger (like Hyuuga do, but longer), touching the opponent with it and putting his opponent in genjutsu? Quick and thin enough for the opponent not to notice.
This would make it fall under the Touch category.
Number 3.
Does he use the reflection of his ring or nails for the genjutsu?
This would mean it affects the Vision (with eye contact).
Number 4.
Does he use it in a way similar to Izanami. That he only has to see his opponent and doesnt have to
make eye contact with the opponents eyes? It would be a lot weaker than Izanami obviously.
This would mean it is a Vision genjutsu as well (without eye contact)
If all of the above are wrong (possibly), than how does he do it?
How do you cast genjutsu with your finger?
I hope someone knows how it works.
If the answer is unknown, which one do you find most likely the case?
If you dont expect it to be one of the four, how do you think yourself that it works?
