Hi, I've been recently hooked onto MTV's new show, "Finding Carter". Typically, the shows on MTV are complete garage, in my opinion, such as Teen Mom, Ridiculousness, Awkward, etc... But, Finding Carter can become a really interesting show with it's view point on Child Abduction...
The main question for the people who have begun watching it recently, I want to know who's side are you on: Elizabeth's, the mom, or Carter?
Honestly, I understand that what the mom has done is rash with the following and hunting the abductor down, but her actions are justified by her past. The fact that she lost one of her daughters when she was only 3 and then having her son prematurely with the risk that he could have died, it's alright for her to operate from fear. I just feel that she needs to control it, or find a different outlet.
Carter, on the other hand, is too rebellious. She knows that Elizabeth, her real mom, operates from fear and is scared to be weak but still choses to purposely create more and more obstacles for Elizabeth such as trying to meet her abductor again, provoking her by disobeying her rules, etc.
Overall, the show is extremely interesting. If you haven't watched it yet, I recommend you do before it gets too far into the season.
