So basically fanboys are cheering because:
Suckske could not learn from the mistakes of the past
Ignored the fact his entire clan was played by BZ and continues to be played

Character has lost all opportunity at redemption
Dies in the end

Lol It's Naruto obviously. Saying otherwise is simply wishful thinking.
#1. Naruto is 100% serious:
Naruto is about to get some upgrades, while Sasuke's upgrades will simply be the rinnegan techniques. I guarentee Sasuke doesn't use his teleportation once this whole fight.
2. Naruto still has the power of the 9 bijuu. Hagoromo confirmed that himself. He even stated that even now, their power is seeping into Naruto, little by little.
Which means Naruto has that unlimited bijuu chakra bruh.
#3. Naruto is going to beat Sasuke's ass until he busts out some legendary ass move(likely FTG or some OP shit; not saying I want that to happen, it's just likely.) that will finish Sasuke, leaving us with Nardo holding down his hand at Sasuke and Sasuke finally accepting Naruto as his friend.
The reason Sasuke won't win is because what he wants is a Dictatorship that relies solely on himself. The moral of this manga is that everyone needs to work together to accomplish things. Why would Kishi throw away over a decade of manga, just to soothe the butts of the butt hurt Sasuke fapboys? He won't Lol.
In the end we all know what's going to happen. Sasuke will accept Naruto as a friend and grab his hand, but will try to make Naruto understand that the current system is wrong, and that they need to fix it. Which will lead to a time skip, etc, etc, etc.
