I love that Nagato and Obito still addressed their old masters with respect, even though they wished to destroy them.


That's how you know they are real men, true leaders.


Underestimating and disrespecting the enemy can get you killed or at the very least maimed. Orochimaru learned that lesson personally.



Obito now stands at the top of food chain as the world's strongest. But, he still shows respect for his former Sensei.




Not like Orochimaru or even Sasuke. One loves and respects only himself and the other has too much pride and confidence in his ancestral power to show any form of courtesy or respect.

Orochimaru calling Hiruzen 'sensei' was nothing but pure insolence! He said it with a disgusting smirk on his face and you just know that he had no respect whatsoever for Hiruzen.


How many times did Orochimaru make fun of his 'sensei' for having a lack of power and strength due to old age?


When Pain fought Jiraiya, there were no snide remarks and no smirks. Nagato was a serious man and he respected his Master! When Pain told Jiraiya that he was just a man he actually meant it! Nagato truly believed he had transcended into a God through his Pain.


Obito is the same way.
