Finally, it's over!

After what felt like a personal eternity, that horrible filler arc about a Second Chunin Exam that nobody asked for has finally ended, and by next week it's back to the events of the Fourth Shinobi War, with Madara about to obtain his Ten Tails form and seeing the fight that I been waiting to happen for quite a while now, that being Madara vs Gai sensei.

Honestly that makes me sad. 4 episodes was not enough to wrap that arc up.

I found it way more interesting than the canon material. Seeing Madara show off for a year isn't going to be interesting to me, new material before the show is gone forever :/

Exactly, it was just one really long terrible filler, while the animators enusred that future DBZ Super will set things right

Characters that we can relate to? The whole arc is giving screentime and development that Shippuden as a whole couldn't be bothered to do. Tenten for one has SHINED.

The worst offenders to the 'nobody' rule are Utakata and Sora. These are minor characters who pose our characters episodic threats. This arc only added to the Universe, expanding Fuu, Konan, Kiba, Team Guy- all sorts. It got a bit lost once or twice (the doll shit was weird) but this is honestly the first time i;ve watched the anime in ages. Probably will drop it again now that Madara will be showing off in usual terrible animation.
