Yep, that's correct what you saw! I just finished reading the whole 716 worth chapters of OP! It just only took me 5 months. Non-readers are suggested to read it. Even I was a OP-hater, but One day I just thought of reading it because I was bored of Naruto ( Manga series ). I started with the 1st chapter (Although the first chapter was quite boring and lengthy, I somehow seemed to enjoy it). But soon, when I just started reading the 1st page of the 2nd chapter.... Bwahaha lol... It's so damn funny. Luffy's reaction while he was stuck in his mini-boat with a whirlpool in front of him was too damn funny!!
The story of OP is SUPER!! (Ah, I got Franky addicted). The story of each character can easily make you cry. Not only that, even a ship (Going Merry) getting wrecked down can also make you cry.
The Battles are also SUPER!! (Ah, Damn Franky for making me addicted to him). The battles are quite long and entertaining too. The actions are thrilling!! It can make you addict to it with only its first 10 chapters.
The world of OP is so big that it contains : Humans, Mermaids, Ghosts, Samurai, Living TOYS, Giants, Fairies, Centaurs, Krakken, Cyborgs, Dwarfs, Fishman, A land where it rains LIGHTNING (Instead of water droplets falling from sky, lightnings fall)
It's actually based on a higher level of thinking like : The sky islands, Dead man Brook (The living Skeleton of Luffy's crew), Hakis (You can beat the hell outta your enemy without even touching 'em if you use it).
The stupidity of the characters in the manga are also SUPER Damn Funny. It always make me laugh.
The best thing of the manga is the NOBODY CAN PREDICT WHAT THERE WILL BE IN THE NEXT CHAPTER!!
Reading instructions for OP : The first day, read only the first chapter, the next week read 3 chapters a day, later 4 chapters and after some more days make it to 15 and some days later make it to 20.Believe me you wont get tired of read so many chapters a day, 'cuz the climax at the end of each chapter is so suspense that it will make you read the next chapter.
Also, the best thing of OP is as soon as a chapter is released you can watch it in action after a month... The anime is always so close to the manga series that the latest chapter gets on air just after a month..!!
