Barcelona should be afraid...
Why?? They already have a good line-up and you know considering the way Real sold Kaka and Ozil for the sake of Bale, I think Real are digging their own grave...hmm
stupid.... hes worth like 60/70 millions.... And they alo sell the best/second best 10 of the world
That's what my point is, it's one of the worst transfers I have ever seen...:|
It's not like I am saying Bale won't perform but it isn't about having money and bringing in star players, it is about building a good team...o.o
It was to be expected, but personally I think they paid way too much. In all honesty I've never seen Bale play before and no doubt he is one of the best players in the world, but worth a 100m €? No way.
Theoretically if Real wouldn't have paid so much money, or any other team for that matter, then what would Bale do? Remain in Tottenham? That wouldn't be beneficial for either of them as it's not like he gave Tottenham any kind of titles of prizes. So from their point of view selling him is something that had to be done either way. And for Bale it wouldn't be good to remain into a sub-class team from the Premier league.
The only reason why so much was paid was just to get more money for him than for Christiano Ronaldo as Bale came after Ronaldo. Is Bale better than CR? I have my doubts. I mean was CR then better then Zinedine Zidane? I also wonder about that, but it's just goes linear. Because CR came after Zidane, he has to cost more. Because Bale now comes after CR, the has to cost more than him. If CR and Bale would switch places, highly likely it would have been CR who would have costed a 100m €.
This isn't really a matter anymore of reflecting the worth of a player, it just has become some kind of a childish twisted prestigious game of just being able to say in the end that you now sold/bought the most expensive player in the world.
When CR came in Madrid he already had championship title with him, what Bale has?? Not even a single EPL title...hmm
Well even if it is true that he is from Tottenham-not so good club for his standards, but it isn't like Bale had earned them a championship spot this season,in short they 'under-achieved'..Talking about Tottenham, this isn't a bad decision at all..
And talking about CR vs Zidane, CR had proved himself when he was part of MANU, and today also he is giving a good competition to Messi, one of the legends of the game, on the other hand Bale has long way to go, and that's why it clearly indicates Real could have done better....U_U
