Madara sama still lives in Uchiha Sasuke.
Before madara sama was presumably soloed, he placed did something to transfer his will to sasuke, though it is not known, not even by sasuke himself. When madara placed his hand on the ground after activating Infinite tsukuyomi, he transferred some of his soul to sasuke because he had a master plan ahead.
Sasuke's dojutsu is currently the most powerful excluding the sharinnegan, but his eye is very close to it, as he is able to use the same jutsu kaguya uses with it. From the moment madara understood that sasuke's eye was different, he tried to acquire it.
Why would sasuke with all bijuu chakra lose to half ass naruto? because Madara sama wanted it so for his grand plan.
Sarada's name is so synonymous to madara's, and it makes me question why sakura and sasuke would name their kid after someone they hate. The answer is simple. Sasuke did that without even knowing it, and sakura blinded by her love for him agreed. Madara is somehow in sasuke without anyone knowing, waiting for the moment to stike, but what is his ultimate goal?
He intends for sarada to awaken her Mangekyou, then he would transfer finally to her and transplant sasuke's eyes to make her mangekyou permanent. Sasuke's eyes are still half of the full thing, which is a 9T Sharinnegan in both eyes. When sarada grows up, madara takes her body black zetsu style and takes sasuke's eyes to awaken 9T in both eyes. Also he would solo naruto and take his RSM.
