[Discussion] Final Villain

[Forbidden Tale]

Who will be the Final Villain? Zeref source of all the evil things in Fairy Tail or maybe Acnologia who killed many dragons during his life as a human and also tried to kill Fairy Tail members 7 years ago, he is still mystery in FT. Or again could someone else be final villain?

Go ahead and post your thoughts. I would like to read them.

in my opinion Acnologia.Acnologia looks stronger than Zeref

according to the prophecy zeref is to be killed or defeated by natsu and considering that zeref made Acnologia and can defeat it he's the final villain and they always talk about the book of zeref, zeref being part of legends and lores all this build up is to the final battle between them. As for Acnologia I'm sure once natsu finds igneel again he'll teach him some awesome dragon slaying technique to beat Acnologia!

Zeref is protrayed as final villain from tenrojima arc

On the otherhand acnologia is a human transformed into dragon by killing the ones who taught acnologia dragon slayer magic

It has plenty of time to develop Acnologia and made him final villain (made him "mainer" than Zeref, if Mashima want something like that). I don't think that manga is near end, Natsu is nowhere near level of top tier characters (Makarov, Laxus, Gildarts and others) and also out of all Dragon Slayers not even Natsu and Laxus couldn't beat Dragon (especially Laxus, since Laxus >> Natsu), Dragons that attack them after GMG is probably not in the league of Igneel and Acnologia by hype should be league above Igneel, so yeah i think that there is plenty of time to make Acnologia "mainer" than Zeref.

It has plenty of time to develop Acnologia and made him final villain (made him "mainer" than Zeref, if Mashima want something like that). If Mashima make Acnologia final villain, than i would like to see him as human again. Actually i would like to see him as human, even if he isn't final villain. It's better to see him fighting in human form than fighting in dragon form. At least for me.

I don't remember that it was stated that Igneel got scars. I remember only saying that Igneel couldn't kill E.N.D. it could be for several reasons:
- E.N.D. was stronger than Igneel, so Igneel run away
- Igneel was stronger, but E.N.D. run away
- They were equal, so in the end they both survive
- Or E.N.D. and Igneel have some bonds and Igneel couldn't bring himself to kill E.N.D., just like Hiruzen couldn't kill Orochimaru.

If Mashima make Acnologia final villain, than i would like to see him as human again. Actually i would like to see him as human, even if he isn't final villain. It's better to see him fighting in human form than fighting in dragon form. At least for me.

END was sealed In the Book by Igneel(assuming Igneel didn't kill),in latest chapter Mard guille talks about"we don't have enough power to unseal END" - So that may be the scenario

Igneel also has noticeable scars on his belly and neck, with the largest one, which is X-shaped, located around the center of his body.

It sure won't explain why and how was E.N.D. sealed, maybe he was so strong demon, that Zeref needed to seal him.

Ok, but it's wikia, it can be edit by anyone. Appearance section don't even have source. Manga picture i posted is same as picture they have on Igneel article and you can see that in that picture he don't have X scar.

It doesn't matter, you can see that he don't have scar in mine.
But yeah Mashima could change his opinion (with assumption that picture you posted also exist in manga).
