OK the alliance with Naruto and edo hokages some how defeat Madara and the Juubi, and Naruto proclaimed saviour of the world etc etc.

For the final villain, it would be neat if Orochimaru takes over Sasuke's body (Sasuke could have Rinnegan and PS at this point) along with Orochimaru's power, intelligence, edo tensei and just the fact he knows soooo many Jutsus they would be a formidable force - stronger than Madara.

Naruto has to defeat them or Orochimaru wreaks havoc, but he can't kill them, because he wants to save his best friend.

This is also good because think of the emotion that would be in this battle, especially if Sasuke wants Naruto to kill him, to free him from Orochimaru's grasp.

Also this is the Naruto vs Sasuke fight we all want, without Sasuke betraying him.

Yeah it was just an idea i cooked up when Orochimaru didn't turn up to the battle.

Anyways just wanted to know what other people think.

Plausible. But I have been thinking about it... Is Orochimaru really a bad guy? Or he is just curious, tainted for more and more knowledge? The Rinnegan could give him what he seeks of course, but is it necessary that this is the only needed thing to make of him the final villain?

I thought Orochimaru wanted all the Jutsu possible, and obtaining Sasuke's body would make a cool last villain, also he stated he's still interested in taking over his body, but he doesn't have to power to do that at the moment.

I think that this would be an interesting way to end things; with Oro, the first bad bad guy our hero's dealt with whom they couldn't defeat, the one that really set their personal struggles/stories into motion, being the one to bring them to a close. I mean how epic would it be for Oro to to finally complete that plan he set into motion years earlier and finally obtain Sauske's body? I personally can't see Oro standing up after Madara/Obito/Juubii are gone and being a proper villain on his own again, nor can I see him getting away and being allowed to just be out in the world doing experiments, etc., nor can I see him locked up in Konoha. This way, Oro could become a proper threat Naruto has to face, and he could be taken down once an for all.

Come on guys...for a long time orochimaru has been chasing his own goal to mastering all ninjutsu in the world and he did it without looked back and focused to his own point of view. But..we do know...when he was monitoring the development of the world inside kabuto, he aqcuire some knowledge about life that could change his way. But, this is all up to kishimoto to make the story interesting.

With the Rinnegan he would be able to master these jutsus.

I've always felt that even though people wanna believe that Orochimaru has turned good..You can't jus turn good out of nowhere.I'm assuming that all the Sannin are around the same age in their 50's..Oro is stuck in his ways..I think that snake is still plotting something..To me he's been the ultimate villain

I could see Sasuke getting possessed, and not necessarily by Oro(It could be the remnants of the Juubi or Madara's soul after his edo is destroyed.). After the final battle he'd be in a weakened state and something would be able to force its way into his body. Then there would be a small time skip and just as everything is getting back to normal Sasuke turns evil.

This sounds possible even though even though I don't like Sasuke's personality they all deserve a happy ending of some kind..They been thur alot

In addition to being the ultimate villain, or rather, in conjunction with being the ultimate villain, Orochimaru has many of the defining traits of what TV Tropes categorizes as the "Magnificent Bastard" character type. Such characters often make for the greatest final adversaries in almost any work of fiction.

It began with the Juubi then it must end with the Juubi.

That would be an interesting way to end the series, no doubt. However, it is beyond my creative capacity to imagine how to tie up various "loose ends" with important side-characters such as Orochimaru, relations among the hidden villages thereafter, concluding the stories of minor characters, and so on. I guess that's why I'm not the one writing the story, though.

If Kishimoto did decide to end the series with the conquering and perhaps sealing the Juubi within a new jinchuriki, it would take some well-thought out planning in order to wrap everything up nicely. On the other hand, finally defeating Orochimaru once and for all would lead to a Harry-Potter-like ending which I don't believe would be as difficult to pull off.
