Tbh, if the entire story and issue with hatred is going to be solved, Obito has to become "good". Naruto is inside his mind, so he will realise, when this happens.
Thus Naruto has to forgive Obito for everything, but not only that, he also has to protect him against the rest of the alliance, who has lost countless friends, and are filled with hatred towards Obito. Naruto has to make them understand, that they also have to forgive him. Only then can true peace be reached.
And if this happens, Madara will be defeated as well, because he will realise, that Naruto is actually the one, that can make peace, and he will no longer have any reason to stay in this world.
Unless the above happen, the ending cannot be ideal, and we have to see another villain causing ruckus in the shinobi world. I doubt that happening, though.
