Yeah the novel said that Boruto used some sort of shuriken jutsu when he surprise attacked Sasuke, and based on the clips we know that's not true at all. I suggest watching the translated movie before jumping to conclusions like this.

But honestly it was obvious from chapter 700 that she's a Boruto stalker, you really don't need the movie to plead your case lol
