To start off this thread I will do some analysis on Naruto's bijuu mode its appearance, power, and weaknesses. Afterward, I will explain what that foreshadowing these aspects could possibly be foreshadowing
Appearance
In this form the chakra from Naruto's KCM grows in to a form that resembles a ragged robe. The lines across the chest and torso that resemble seals are replaced by a black shirt that has a bright circle with a ring around and a line stemming from the ring traveling up until it reaches the neck the collar of the shirt is embedded with tomoe and so is the collar of the robe. There are similar Black circles on the shoulders and feet. Black lines also stem from these circles and run up the legs and down the arms.
In all honesty being a guy who is really in to computer this reminds me A LOT of circuitry.
Power
Bijuu mode grants Naruto supersonic speeds allowing him to move so fast that the wind shear from his movement was enough to divert the path of five bijuu dama's. Naruto also retains his ability to sense the hostility of chakra and hostility of others and IMO this ability seems to have only improved in BM. His KCM was shown strong enough to tank the explosive power of Teppen chii and granted him enough strength to resist the jaw power of the Yonbi ( sorry I know that this is supposed to be about BM, but I cant really remember any strength or durability feats from BM so at the very least I know that his strength and durability hasn't decreased.)
Naruto also has the ability to form his immense chakra into a chakra representation of kurama.
This is the Kyuubi Cloak. In this form Naruto is given the full strength of the Kyuubi that dwells within him. The cloak has been seen as durable enough to withstand the wide spread blast of the first stage Juubi as only sustaining the damage of losing a few of its tails. The strength of the kyuubi cloak outmatches all other tailed beasts and has been shown as being able to produce a bijuu dama large enough to rival the size of a collective bijuu dama made by 5 different tailed beasts.

Weaknesses
Simply put time limit. Because Naruto and Kurama have only started syncing their chakra recently they can only remain in BM for a certain amount of time or until Kurama's chakra runs out. Still, this isn't much of a weakness, because every time Naruto and Kurama sync their connection gets better and the time limit is extended.
Evolution into True Bijuu Sage Mode.
Appearance:
1st Naruto is a shonen manga. What does this mean that what ever power up the main character might get unless your manga is described as Horror or Psychological is gonna be awesome and is seldom horrific.
Meaning Naruto looking like this dude is 100% out. No pasty skin, no scales and no shinigami pants.
If you look at Naruto and compare side by side with the So6P then you will note some similarities. Namely, the tomoe embroidery around the neck and the horns on their head. Now these could just be Kishimoto using similar costumes to demonstration the the resemblance between the MC and the fabled hero (So6P). That is until this:
The fact that Kishimoto decided to make the the horns an addition to Obito's appearance once he had gained control over the Juubi as its Jinchuuriki means that Kishimoto is clearly using the appearance known appearance of the So6P as a marker to show who has is closer to the Sage's power FYI Obito's winningXD
Now the point in saying all that is this. Because Kishimoto gave all of Naruto's similarities to the Sage in his chakra forms only then it is only natural that any advancing in the direction towards the So6P would be accomplished through the chakra cloak. Also, the majority of this theory was inspired by his chakra cloak. Remember how I told you that the lines on Naruto's cloak look like circuitry?
Flat Out
To lay my theory out straight it is that when the Kyuubi becomes 100% and obtains the chakra of the Hachibi to complete his collection of chakra from the other bijuu he will don a cloak of either pure natural energy/ senjutsu chakra. In this form Naruto will maintain a connection with all bijuu and will be able to summon chakra forms of all 9 bijuu into battle.
Reasons
As we have seen before with the Juubi. When the nine bijuu become one then they become the giant mass of natural energy that is the 10 tails.
But, seriously though if you look at all of the SM fights with the exception of Kabuto and Juugo you will notice that neither Hashirama nor Naruto stay in SM. SM is not a taxing technique and it doesn't waste chakra there is no reason to turn it off. So, the only logical reason would be that the pre-stated time limit still applies. Also it was stated in recent chapters that now in BM Naruto can absorb nature energy a lot faster. Another benefit would be that natural energy could possibly be used the same way as chakra. This can be supported by the fact that:
1. The Juubi can use TBB (Juubi=origin of chakra so duuh it can use chakra)
2. After absorbing the Juubi Obito can now use Ninjutsu that go waaaay be
yond his normal ability.
ANYWAY ITS A POWER UP!
Connections:
The inspiration for thinking that Naruto will act like one big Bijuu server comes from the design from his BM cloak.
This is how my brain works. LINES=CIRCUITS=CONNECTIONS=BONDS. When Naruto gained chakra from the tailed beasts he became able to sense their presence.
Even inside this^
This could also be a way for the tailed beasts to become one.
Naruto acting as a common connector for the Bijuu to work in unison through Naruto. (Assuming that process hasn't been fulfilled already by Obito.)
