Final page chapter 606

On the final page in the 2nd last panel, we see that Nagato is still wearing a village of the Rain headband that isn't scratched.

He also doesn't have 10+ poles sticking out of his back.

This would imply that "Madara" (who we all know and love as Tobito) contacted him when the Akatsuki was in its infancy/before he used the Gedou.

I believe that Obito may have used the hatred in Nagato's heart after Yahiko's death to manipulate him into working for him.

But for now it's just another theory. We'll have to wait until next week to see what's up.

the way yahiko's death happened to nagato so he could accept obito's pact is the same way it happened to obito seeing rin die which leaded him to accept madara's opininon

Yup that is basicslly whst hsppened. Obito said he had initiated the creation of Akatsuki when he talked to Konan. I'm hoping that just that image clears up the whole formation proof as I don't think we need any more explaination than that XD

i've been dieing to see how they got picked...

Nagato got played like one of sosori's puppets...... was nothing more of a pawn since birth, but at least he cut the strings and was finaly able to make his own choice in the end. I have to asume that tobi/obito/madara told nagato to create the Akatsuki (and looking at the coments it seems that was the case), using him to collect all those tailed beasts for his moon eye plan with madara.
