The sword I equipped on tidus is called Avenger with the Passive ability of counter attack. My strength is pretty high and so is my evasion but my defence and magic isnt that great

U need to work on defense mate. I had all aeons and everything. Including magus sisterz and seymours aeons. Its hard but ull get it. Find wat works and stick to it.

Cast haste on Tidus then slow on Evrae. The key is to time Cid's movements of the ship using Rikku and Tidus to avoid the poison attack. Try using cheer to increase damage but the most effective way to take it down is to be as close to it as possible so Auron and Tidus can finish it off.

This dudes on point that's the best way to beat him plus look at your guage on the side screen every attach you do and movement of the ship will either push Evrae attachs forward or back..learning his attach pattern is key aswell but learning how to use the character guage is just as important

I kept it at long range for most of the fight spammed titus cheer to the point where everyone was doing like 3000 points of damage, use haste on everyone and used slow and darkness on him. then closed in and just started bonbarding him like crazy
