[Discussion] Final battle went wrong

In my opinion the final battle should look like this:
Power of friendship-chakra (Naruto + 9 Bijuus)
vs.
Power of eyes (Sasuke and his Sharinnegan)

This scheme is running for over 200 chapters and we should got the answer what is stronger.
And what Kishi gives us?
Naruto with Kurama vs. Sasuke with Bijuus and not using any Rinnegan tech(except Preta path)

Tell me what you think because it's not what I exected. I wanted to see the full power of Sharinnegan and Bijuus working together not this...

This fight was gritty. I've never saw neither Naruto or Sasuke this beat up. Even after facing the mother of chakra. This is a slug fest.

Its about cooperation. Naruto asked bijuus help. Sasuke bend bijuus will in to his liking. It was perfect.

Even if one of them wins, they could die of using up too much chakra. I'm glad they ran out, too. They've been at full power for way too long. But I guess it's not really that B.S.-y because Hashirama and Madara had that one fight said to have lasted three days.

Yeah the taijutsu fight at the end was something that we missed in this manga after all this "heaven" powers.
But still I fear the worst of endings - Sakura interrupting the fight.

I was expecting a huge power crazy fight too. All the different possibilities and jutsu but it was pretty much Sasuke trying to one shot kill Naruto and then a big fist fight in that last chapter. In a way I was disappointed but then again maybe this was the way it had to be. Just one big heartfelt, emotional, gritty brawl. Mano a mano.

yea you could really see the desperation in both of them, sasuke wanting ot be alone and naruto wanting to save/stop sasuke.

You know, finding out that naruto managed to beat sasuke's butt despite sasuke wielding the bijuu's power kind of makes me wonder about sasuke fans. He had all that power in addition to his own and he still couldn't manage to beat naruto in a decent amount of time. It still took him a day of TRYING. Were both of them nerfed???

Yup this fight sucks, the first Naruto and Sasuke fight was 100x better. The action scenes were just a lot better. Manga is ruined forever unless Kishi reveals a surprise sequel series. This battle just doesn't feel right.

Kurama stated they were low on chakra from the war, which was probably why Sasuke used the bijuus to give himself a boost. The Rinne animals would be useless against the ashura avatar and I believe Naruto and the toads killed them all anyway. Asura path is weapon transformation but Naruto already showed just with senjutsu that he was far beyond it and Sasuke looks to be preferring his chidori in this fight. Human path sucks chakra life force out of you, but Naruto and Sasuke appear to be evenly matched in chakra, speed and strength. I doubt Sasuke has enough chakra to use Deva, especially after already using chibaku tensei and naraka's king of hell is a sitting duck unless the person is bound somehow.

We already saw all the bijuus working together against Madara and Kaguya. Naruto even made all elemental rasenshurikens representing them all.

I'm enjoying it. I finally got to see the ashura avatar I'[ve been wanting Naruto to make and use and Sasuke's susano'o avatar was epic as well, not to mention their clash that ripped the land apart like a pun intended hurricane and decapitated the madara and hashirama monuments. I would have preferred Naruto using the sword of nunoboko as well as possibly Mokuton other than his fuuton and bijuu dama ransenshuriken, but I guess it wouldn't have fit his character well. Other than that, it's suspenseful and awesome. Kishimoto is handling the choreography well while using real world logic. He's used their strongest techs as well as new ones, epic dynamic clashes, strategy, emotional dialogue and showed that they're worn out from the fighting they've already done as well as from the cataclysmic attacks they used. Now they are down to just fist fighting because that's all they can do now after being exhausted.

I wouldn't exactly call this a taijutsu fight. Naruto used his uzumaki barrage, but beyond that, it just came off as an emotional fist fight due to their exhaustion.
