Untill the tournament part is over.. anime will have 1-2 canon episodes followed by 1-2 fillers and so on. They cant show you the story every week or Full Metal Alchemist will happen to Naruto. Anime will be forced to create their own story and drift appart from manga. (Thats why Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood was made to follow the manga)

Would you rather wait 2 weeks for each episode? Since anime follows manga they have to wait for manga to be released and then make anime of the chapter...

Why do some people lack the ability to understand why there are fillers, if an anime catches up with a manga and there are no fillers then in the end the anime will suffer breaks which last for months. So either you get fillers or you get nothing at all.

Either way, I don't think this filler arc is that bad >_>

Agreed. I'd rather get fillers than a long break. Not to mention, Fairy Tail really doesn't have that many fillers. I think this is the longest filler it ever had.

I like the filler arc too. It got a lot interesting these past few episodes.
