I also hope the give us one good decent animated fight for these filler arcs. You know how they did that for the Chunin Exam fillers where they hyped up Rock Lee vs Shira?

Honestly as a huuuuge fan of that arc that arc had a couple really well animated episodes. Everything involving Tenten and the Rain Kunoichi, catching up to Shira as well as the fight? It was a rare arc where the average for animation quality was high. Just like say the Kage Summit arc where they barely had a bad-lookign episode in sight

From every single Naruto fillers, my favorite would be the Chikara arc.

It had good story telling, animation, and the fight scenes were bliss.

Too bad it wasn't canon. Though it would mess up the story line a bit, it's still one of the better arcs of the filler series.

If Kishimoto had expanded on smaller villages, whom face their own internal struggles and had Naruto try to solve a conflict or two, would of been interesting. We weren't introduced to many characters outside of shinobi, or people who fight in general.

I genuinely prefer it to all of Kishi's arcs. In both of my big anime videos, Chikara gets big mentions. It can easily be a prelude for the war and in my opinion doesn't really affect the timeline that much as long as you change Naruto's final form he goes into at the end. Change that into the first unveiling of the 5-6 Tails instead.

Even the Hidan and Kakuzu arc? Bar the final fight between Kakuzu and Naruto which was sketchy.

The only problem with it and the story line would be the fact that Naruto didn't have that chakra mode until later in the story, right? The series would of been better in general if he expanded on the World of Naruto itself, instead of seeing glimpses of it when the Gokage meeting had to start, and we finally saw the 5 Main villages. Hell, we didn't even see Kirigakure either in p1, despite the MC's going to the Land of Water in PT. 1.
