The canon episodes supposedly continue in June. Wikipedia has the episodes as this week, and next week filler, and then an episode in June titled "Reanimation! Allied forces!!". This is both optimistic and sketch at the same time. On the one hand, it says Reanimation, and allied forces, which could be interpreted as Madara appearing. On the flip side, the phrase "allied forces" could also indicate more filler. I guess time will tell, we'll know by next week, since the preview will show us.

IMO if the fillers include the akatsuki ( which i hear the subbed ones have) then i do not see why you guys are complaining I watch english dub and were back at the konoha history arc .. most god awful fillers ive ever seen ..

naruto has over 100 episodes of filler, and this is just shippuden..most anime doesn't even have 100 episodes to begin with:|

Honestly the fillers are necessary if the show *anime* isn't gonna take a break while the manga is going on.

The animators or whatever just made bad fillers and screwed up the continuation of the war story...

Good ones would have been very nice .. Fillers that could have been very movie like...

I want good fillers and I mean great enjoyable fillers that make you feel like watching them over and over...

I mean why would ya make a look a like Rin???! just plain disrespectful.. :[

I too watch the English Dub, but I dont wait for them to be released. I read the manga, watch the subbed and then watch the dubbed when it comes out. Is there a reason why you don't at least skip ahead in the sub and then go back to the dub when they get released? Because they only get released in waves every 3 months or so, and let me tell you, the filler arc you're in is going to last at the very least 1 more wave (meaning anywhere from 4-6 months before you get back on track).

Filler is necessary but only under certain circumstances. Filler is required when the anime becomes too close to the manga, and with all these filler episodes, the anime is definitely not close to the manga. At this point its like they just prefer making filler episodes. Now (and i've brought this up before), they could get the best of both worlds here if they split their animation team into two. One smaller team handles the BS filler, while a larger, more dedicated team creates canon episodes with QUALITY animation (the animation has been lacking greatly). Instead of releasing the canon episodes as much as they can and then making filler, they constantly create canon episodes, matching the most recent manga chapters, but keep them in storage. At the same time, the filler episodes can be made, and they can release their great animation canon episodes (that are pre-made at that point) and release as many as they feel necessary. That buys them weeks in theory, while the filler team has time to make better filler, and the canon team continues to make quality episodes when the latest manga are released.

..How? ... At the very least you can not deny the english voices match so well with the characters ( most of them) Whereas the Sub ones ..seam .. out of touch

Although the one good thing about sub is that it includes different dialect that curses more ( because everyone needs more swears)
