This filler really makes me confused about the whole Kakashi and Itachi relationship. It seems like they were really good friends, but in canon it's not like that... thoughts?

Eh..... I don't know if they had a bad relationship in cannon, but what get me is something else. In the manga, Kakashi stated Itachi became head of the anbu at 13, yet Kakashi's clearly still anbu captain when Itachi's much older.

Itachi still had to play the part of a rouge ninja. Even though he may have been friends with Kakashi, he had to make it seem like he was the enemy, especially in the presence of Kisame.

juxt a filler no biggie ... but itachi and kakashi are not enemies in canon ... itachi is juxt loyal to the akatsuki

This , and even then i remember Itachi being very polite to Kakashi when they first fought ( calling him Kakashi-san and shit )
