Chances are of this happening are really really low but I think it would be pretty cool if it happened.
You'd have had to have seen the Ninja Art: Kojaku arc with the Hidden Star village in the pre-shippuden fillers to understand it fully but it would also be easy to understand for people who hadn't as it would just look like new filler characters.
Basically Sumaru's mother gets revived by Edo Tensei and is being forced to use her Kojaku beast to a high extend on the fodder and then Sumaru enters the fighting area. She then turns to face him and looks at him in shock. He starts to say how he's become the Kage of the HSV which was his dream from the moment he was introduced and that he found a way to perform the 'Star training' as a bloodline limit rather than actually using the star. His mother is then put completely under control and uses her Kojaku beast again Sumaru then uses his Kojaku beast which is significantly bigger than his mother's and a blue colour rather than the original purplish colour. After Sumaru easily defeats his mother and the sealing corps arrive along with a Naruto clone his mother states how she is so proud of him whilst being sealed.
There could then be an exchange in dialog between Naruto and Sumaru where Naruto says something like "Hoshikage 'ey?" with a smile on his face and then the scene would change to the where Gaara is and then it would return back to cannon of course.
I haven't liked any of the recent fillers particularly and some of the recent things like this child that can control weather is really getting annoying for me. I also really liked the Kojaku arc and I've re-watched it many times (more than any other filler arc). It would also be motivational for Naruto I guess because of how Sumaru achieved his dream of becoming Hoshikage and I believe it was Sumaru who said to Naruto that he looks forward to working with him when they are both Kage.
Also... If you haven't seen this arc I really would recommend it (Episode 178-183 of part 1)
