If things doesn't go "your way" people would classify as fillers regardless of the fact that Kishi was involve in outlining his draft or overseeing The anime. In my objective view, the term "filler" no longer hold significant in the Boruto anime/manga/novels compare to Naruto back then. Even if these medium diverge differently, each follows up its own continuity. Doesn't DBS ring the bell?? Another example, Fate stay night has broken down to 3 different versions but they are all still canon.

With Gaiden, I find this arc to be subpar overall, but even then it's still canon whether ppl like it or not.

I will watch the anime only when Sasuke and Naruto fight will fight villans . Everything else is crap to me because got no time for kiddie issues

Orochimaru probably married them in some sort of dank underground layer, with Karin as a bridesmaid and Suigetsu as the best man. They should make that a filler. 10/10 would watch

On a different note:
I agree with the people that consider it all as canon. I liked the Sumite arc, obviously. But the Denki Iwabe thing was really boring, in my opinion. Iwabe is alright, but Denki is one of the most boring characters in existence, they might as well just kill him off.

It's impossible for this Arc to be canon b/c Kishimoto did not state it was, though. For the Academy Arc, to my dismay, Kishimoto approved it.

For the current episodes past 15, and the current Gaiden Arc, there hasn't been much say. Even then, there's no such thing as canon Anime to Manga stories. The on panel scenes are always canon.

Approving don't make it canon tho or else RTN would be canon and the novels.

I don't think he approved any as canon just that he approved of the 1st arc like he did RTN.

Anything after original Naruto is non canon piece of Garbage full stop. There is no story but made up things and they try to drag Naruto and Sasuke to uncharted territory to satisfy kids like 123Fillers and members post-Naruto series who suck Boruto's Di*k, Sarada's T*ts and ChoCho's ass. Remind me again what was the year that Original Naruto end?

Nah. The only thing so far that we have on the author's word was the first arc.

Since then Kishimoto hasn't said anything. The anime was advertised as an adaption of the Burrito Manga, even calling itself an original story.

So it's entire canonization isn't straightforward.
