Fight: power or scenario?

As going over most of the top 10s and VS threads, I would like to ask what do you guys believe decides a fight? Power or Scenario?





Is a "VS" good way to say someone is stronger?


Also, i have noticed people don't take a scenario into case. No actual fight is ever spam jutsus and end it. someone could accidentally get a cut, while they are moving back. Or they could trip... and so on.

I personally do not believe, Power = winner of a "VS", however please feel free to share your opinions.

Well I feel victory depends equally on both. (for people with close strengths) but for supposed one sided fights well terrain shouldn't matter.

Scenario definitely

Kisame vs Gaara at grassy plains decent fight

Kisame vs Gaara near a large mass of water, GG Gaara low diff.

Seeing how Hidan was defeated...Scenario works much better... People like Pain might need a little over powering though.

Agreed. Power isn't the only reason why someone wins.

It is scenario of displaying powers.

Depends on the character actually. Scenario wont matter to someone like Madara or Hashirama since they can change the landscape at will

Scenario has a part to play. majority of vs threads are unrealistic and i agree would never happen in the manga that way.
