I rate Mei pretty highly to be honest. She has a natural affiinity towards fire, water and earth. She can use Lava Release and Boil Release. She seems to be a pretty intelligent fighter (not insanely clever like Shikamaru, Minato, Itachi etc, but probably on Kakashi's level). Id say shes a formidable opponent for most people in the manga/on the anime.

I feel Mei can win against Tsunade, Gaara and maybe A. I think Oniki will be too much for her.

On a side note, Mei vs Kakashi (please no fanboy reactions. Reasoning would be most welcome)

Terrain: Destroyed Konoha. There is a lake nearby and also a mini desert (just for Gaara). Good, solid earth and a hot midday (fire jutsus).

as many elements as onoki so she may win against him with youth (gai smiles) xd; enclose A in a space and she wins or he loses like a leg (or skin) and wins barely; tsunade-she will win if tsunade runs out of healing chakra; gaara idk he beat 2nd mizukage so he may win xd

She wins Tsunade, A's lightning armor plus speed is too much for her. Gaara is a good match up. I'd like to see that fight. Oonoki rapes. Also, Kakashi vs Mei, I'd give it too kakashi. He's shown so much strength in this war so far. His new abilities plus kamui is pretty formidable. People who still think he has low endurance haven't been reading recently.

I'd say that's a pretty good estimation of the outcomes.

Gaara might be able to outdo her simply based on long-range attacks of immense size, but it could go either way.

Tsunade would last a while, but I don't think she can get close enough (safely) to Mei to deliver any shattering blows

Raikage may be fast enough to get in a good shot at her. But seeing as she's an Earth style user, she has the potential tools to counter most attacks (no proof here, just assumptions based on the fact that if she can us a KG utilizing earth, she's pretty good at simple earth techs too)

Onoki takes her out, definitely. His flying and Jinton are total HAX xd

Kakashi might be able to take her out - he's shown GREAT stamina through this war. But if he won it would be a one-shot deal (either a surprise Raikiri or Kamui her head off xd). Otherwise, she takes this.

I say she beats tsunade but thats it...the location is bad for her she needs a close space to do boil release and the lava release wouldnt do much against a's speed onoki's fight and gaara sand

Bold part: Are you kidding me!? Kakashi is at least on the same level of intelligence as Shikamaru, Minato and Itachi.

Thread part: I think Mei could only beat tsunade in a battle. She might come close to beating Gaara, but I don't think any of her attacks can hit A, and Onoki is to much for her. As for the Kakahi fight. It would be a good fight, but Kakashi's speed, huge ninjutsu arsenal, intelligence and MS would overwhelm her.

Mei vs gaara would be a good match but gaara can defend and attack at the same time and can hover/fly in the air whatever he is when he is suspended in the air in his sand

Mei vs Kakashi im not sure could go either way id like to think kakashi but your not named head of your village for no reason but then again kakashi was nearly hokage soo it goes to kakashi for his sharingun and ms abilities

needs more feats but hidden mist jutsu basically nullifies onoki since he'd need to see to aim his dust, and would nullify tsunade who is also best at close combat.

according to kakashi there are two strategies for fighting longe range shinobi. being better than they are at long range or forcing them into close combat.
