Lol yh that kid killed my celebration. I felt sorry for him.Yea I burst with joy at the goal and they immediately showed the crying kid, I felt kinda ashamed because I did not watch the match alone :/
Blindly supporting? The same could be said to you. The ref helped them to win the penalty shoot out right? He helped them to beat colombia? Cameroon? Im done. The same disgrace that scored arguably one of the world cup finest goals some days ago and is a proven player?
Seriously you are indeed not being very objective and as I recall you already said you wanted a South-American final at one point and how a European team never has won on South-American soil.
Face the reality: Brazil did not deserve to be in the semi-finals. Frankly France, Colombia, Chile, Belgium (though that might sound subjective as I'm from Belgium) and several others actually deserved more to be in the semi-finals than Brazil.
Against who did they play? Victory agains Cameroon? You seriously just said that? You are not done, you never started. If you now actually had to fall back on that, sorry but than you have or absolutely not insight in the sport of football or you are being in denial. Cameroon was probably the worst team of the 32 participating teams. They themselves already considered it a half miracle that they were able to qualify. They lost 3 matches with 1-0, 4-0 and 4-1, so they received 9 goals in just 3 matches, which in fact should have been 11 goals as because for some reason two legit Mexican goals were invalidated. One of their players even head butted another one. There was no Cameroon team, that was a joke.
Chile and Colombia? Those weren't even real matches anymore, those were brawls. Brazil currently is responsible for committing the most fouls on this world cup. People can whine all they want on how Neymar got injured and Hulk attacked, however Brazil wasn't any better. The great Brazil reduced to regular kicking brawl. On top of that Chile and Colombia were teams that refused to play defensively whatsoever, which of course suited Brazil. Not to mention South-American teams play against each other all the time, so they are all very acquainted with each other. Do you think it's a coincidence they have had the most trouble with Germany and Croatia, the only two European teams the played against? Croate had an invalidated goal, while the Netherlands made a goal against Spain nearly the exact same way and that one was validated. On top of that Brazil was given a free penalty.
The only good match Brazil really played was against Mexico, again not coincidently an American team who tried to play offensively.
If Brazil had encountered one of the European teams in the 16th or Quarter finals, the chance they reached the semi-finals is very small. They were putting more effort in crying and singing their national anthem rather than focusing on their matches. Their captain started crying during the penalty shootout against Chile and didn't even dare to watch, that same captain who got himself a yellow card in the most retarded way imaginable, resulting in him being suspended for the semi-final, which is no less than betraying your own team. Then even had the bloody nerve trying to get that yellow card invalidated. How sad can you be? Even their own former internationals described this team and captain as a bunch of crybabies not worthy the play at this stage. "We draw strength from Neymar's injury", showing his shirt during the national anthem, crying yet again. What a cruel joke that was, if they already drew that much strength from Neymar's injury, I wonder how many they are receiving for the misery that 200 millions brazilians are currently having from this loss?
They won a penalty shoot-out? They won a lottery, so? Any team in the world can win from any team in the world with penalties. It's a lottery.
David Luiz made a pretty goal? So? Germany butchered Brazil seven to one and six of their seven goals were textbook goals. Not flashy, not particular pretty, but deadly efficient and without mercy. That's European football. Get a reality check as if you are actually falling back on things like pretty goals and penalties, you are at the end of your rope but you refuse to get a reality check. The way how David Luiz was celebrating his goal against Colombia says everything. He nearly swallowed his own chin and I thought the vanes in his neck were going to pop and his head would be blasted from his body. Quarter final this, a goal from a team that was seriously aiming to become world champion. They were celebrating like they already had won it, which can only be seen as an indication of how insecure they actually are, despite all their boasting. And now look at how Müller, Kroos, Khedira etc. are celebrating their goals. Quite modest, no? They knew. That match isn't over till it's over and they are already focusing on it. That were professionals worthy of being world champion. The Brazilians? They were celebrating like a team that already exceeded a result that's higher than what they are actually worth. Not worthy of semi-finals, you can see it in their play, you can see it in their attitude.
To burst your final bubble do you know which South-American team is the most European? Argentina. Argentina is currently the Italy of South-America, the way how they play approaches that of the Italian catenaccio-system, which is as un South-American is it can possibly be. And yes they can become world champion with that, Italy has done it before. So even if it's not a European team that wins, it's a European-inspired team that will do it.
Face the facts.
