Germany through...............
Well oiled German machinery are through 1-0.Germany move into the World Cup semi-finals for the a record fourth successive tournament
French failed to inspire there were a few moments here and there but Germany had them in shackles, as for Germany they did what they had to do, Lahm back as RB, 4-2-3-1, no mirroring of Guardiola's Bayern-esque style were all welcomed changes as a result they looked more comfortable, no twitchy moments, no Neuer acting as defender, Vintage Germany.
As for France it was uninspiring and no moments of ingenuity, they looked tired, second half was better, but it was not enough.

Nice work guys, really feel awesome with Germany in the semis.:bouncy:
-That Neuer though, such an awesome goalkeeping, that last touch and then an excellent save against Benzema attack.
-Lahm was awesome at right back, I so much wanted Joachim to do that and he did it. Overall solid defensive performance from defenders.
-And that Hummels, wasn't part of last match team, joined today and scored a sensational goal on equal awesome cross by Kroos(united fanboy inside me screamed, bring Kroos at United.>_O)
-Seriously France was disappointing today, especially the midfield and the Griezmann performance.:dead:
The inexperience to play at top level of French side was quiet clearly visible today and certainly not allowing Giroud to play in starting eleven was mistake, second half was still better though.
Overall Germany played well, rather I should say maturely today, clearly see them lifting that world cup.u.u

Happy to be in the semis. Looking forward to Columbia vs Brazil. Can see either team winning but I think Columbia will win.

Netherlands vs. Costa Rica will be a fun game, especially if Costa Rica shocks the world by winning. I can't wait.

Germany are finally looking like that great machine again. France never really pushed them, I felt Germany could've upped it at will if needed. The French were all hype in my opinion. It is one thing to score 3 on Honduras another thing to actually fight a great team. France had a few nice moments, but nothing that really pushed Germany.
Klose playing, Lahm in RB, Schweini/Khedira/Kroos trio in midfield, Hummels back, wow! So many positives today. Ozil is the only piece I'm still a little iffy about. Schurrle should've started on the left, thus making Howedes more secure. Ozil has pretty bad rates at tracking back, though today he did much better on that. Overall satisfied with the performance. Though was hoping Klose would get a goal or two

Lol yh I was hoping that as well. Oh well hopefully he will get at least one in the semi or final.

Brazil are through 2-1, they played well, their attack looked dangerous and they defended well.
Second goal from David luiz was brilliant though.
Heartbreak for Columbia, they attacked well in second half but their first half performance and their poor defending brought them down.
They probably lost the game after the first goal.
Brazil today were ruthless and They did a complete 360 from their last performance and dominated Colombia.
