Fiction...?!

Well, I was given an assignment last week in the art school to make a little presentation about what fiction is, where does it come from and how people eat it (it's origin, types of fiction, how it is to be taken and what to think of it).

The teacher strictly forbid it to have the Wikipedia as the copy/paste source of the information, but told me to gather the knowledge from here and there.

So fellers, I would like to know, what is the fiction to you? When was the first time you have encountered it and what do you think of it since then?

Fiction comes from the manifestation of right-brained way of thinking mixed with realistic thoughts.

It's a difficult question I can't come up with anything else right now

What? I would assume that the definition of fiction is not real. Fantasy, fairy-tales, etc. would be categorize as ficton.
