Stack on Curagas, make sure that you have many potions/elixirs and best characters/summons in use. I completed it with Cloud, Barret and Vincent with each one of them able of healing, using summon and other shiz like that.

wat he said i beat the game in less then 5 days but i was beatin tho...but have many potions and summonings

Didn't really get to this part,just level up and beat him,use cures/curas/curagas and healing items
