This post is aimed to those who post theories, especially VS. battles who forgot about these. Lol if you know everything already, keep the prize to yourself 
1. Jutsu's and Chakra Increase by every use
Jutsu's get better by every use! We have seen how Kakashi's Kamui gradually got better and better by every use, meaning the more experience he has over the skill, the less chakra its most likely to take. So what is the reason? Chakra Reserves are said to grow from Physical Energy, and Spiritual Energy.
Physical Energy to grow are obviously cultivated through the means of training, such as push ups, running etc.
Spiritual Energy (You might want to pay attention) is improved by experience!.
Also to lessen chakra use its vital to know the key of the jutsu's chakra control, this is gradually improved by every use. A jutsu which comes naturally to a shinobi is often used with less chakra and sometimes no handseals, seen with Sasuke's Chidori.
2. Genjutsu can be broken with chakra (Excluding Izanami, Izanagi and Tsukuyomi)-Special Cases such as Jinchuuriki and Siblings-
Firstly, to break Genjutsu one should realize you are in one, after that you can use your chakra, either releasing chakra or using a jutsu to change flow, to break it. Or stopping there chakra flow and putting a stronger chakra flow to disrupt the genjutsu's effects. In that case Sennin Chakra users can easily therefore break Genjutsu, as some are able to constantly absorb chakra (Kabuto and Jiraiya with 2 Great Sages)
How does genjutsu work? Genjutsu works by a shinobi extending his chakra to the victim's nervous cerebral part of the brain, thereby affecting all 5 Senses, to completely manipulate to give false visions and sensations. This is considered normal genjutsu. Though hand seals, expert chakra control and intelligence is needed.
Sharingan Genjutsu works exactly the same, but direct eye contact is required, no seals.
The Genjutsu's binding power also relies on the user's chakra, the more powerful the chakra, the more harder its to break, as seen with Sasuke's Genjutsu with Susanoo at Kage Summit, and probably to come Juubi's Infinite Tsukuyomi(Hence impossible to break).
Other than eye contact and chakra extending, genjutsu can also be used with sound, seen by the 2 Great Sage Toads and Tayuya.

As for Tsukuyomi.
It can only be broken by 2 special cases, a perfect Jinchuuriki and a close sibling (As seen with the Itachi vs Sasuke fight)
